I stumbled on Rocklord's posts a good while back and became hooked on "Mannix" figures.
There's very little known about these lines and how they are related to each other and some of that seems to be based on rumor and misinformation.
My hope is that we can share information and pictures of the various lines in this series of figures and create a single accurate resource for them.
Please post any pictures you have, particularly of carded figures (and backs of cards where appropriate).
Please post any concrete information you have about when & where these figures were sold.
My current theory is that the 5" figures were produced first (date stamped 1993, more detail, card art on the back of the card) and the 5.5" figures came later (no date stamp, less detail, blank back of card). This would date the Mannix wresters at 1994 or later. Anyone have evidence that contradicts this?
I've organized the lines I am aware of by body style:
Small 5" figures (I believe that these are possibly the original lines, with the exception of the "Vikings")
OverTop Man (1992 MCT - also T.T. Toys on card)
OverTop Man / Top Warrior thread
Top Warrior (1993 MCT; identical to OverTop Man, but came with trading cards)
World of Fighters (1993 MCT; 1994 For You; identical to OverTop Man and Top Warrior figures; no trading cards)
