Anybody going to collect these? I'm unsure, if I see them in person I'll probably cave in and buy a few. I've seen pics of these and I can't quite get a sense of size because even though I know they're 6 inch figures, they are at least sculpted in a style similiar to the 3 3/4" figures. I am also wondering what the retail will be on these. When you think about it, isn't Hasbro now asking you to buy the same figures they've been selling you again since 1995, just roughly double the size? Damn Hasbro !

It's genius on their part. A lot of people have wanted 6 inch for years. They've done SOOO many 3 3/4 versions of just about everyone. So adding in a new scale, means you can milk that cow again.
I'm interested in a few original trilogy guys.

Read on the net last night that there are still going to be 3 3/4" figures in this series as well as the 6 inchers. The retail on the 6 inchers is going to be about $19.99. Ugh. I'll have to REALLY like them.

I hit a few of the old figure collecting haunts while shopping today and saw pegs ready to receive the new Black Series figures only at a KMart store. They had the new Saga Legends at the KMart and it appears they are falling in line with other movie figures that size on the less-articulation-less-price scenario. TRU had two packs of these figures for $10 per set.

Got my first one at CEII, think I might get a bunch more of these. I like the scale. Just hope they are not as expensive as this one because it was far from cheap.

Thanks I changed how I display it now though, after seeing an official pic. The first way was how it was displayed at the counter. But I like this one a bit more The figure is getting cooler each time i look at it

Love the Boba, rawlin! My buddy bought one (off eBay) and he's thrilled with it. A lot of stores around here are also re-setting their toy departments. Stopped by the Wal-Mart closest to me today and they had already reconfigured, but they only had the plan-o-grams and tags up; no new product. I was a bit concerned when I didn't see the 6" Black series on either the plan-o-grams or the tags/j-hooks. Makes me wonder if this line will be widely carried

Only way for me to get the will be eBay.

Thankfully I live a stone's throw away from several Wal-Marts, Targets, etc. here in Ohio (U.S.), so if these hit standard box store retail beyond TRU, I should have no problem finding them. I'd really hate to have to order them online. With the mark-up and the S&H... wheeeew.

Every Target around here started selling the 6" figures last week. At the same time half of the Walmarts started selling the 3.75" only and no 6". The other Walmarts are slowly resetting isles . I doubt the trend is supposed to stay that way for long. I didn't buy any. I will get a few from the next wave in fall.

I've just learned that toys'r us here in Sweden is taking in the 6" Black Series. Price as it looks will be a bit above 229sek (~35usd) I guess that's good considering that clone wars figures where 169sek, not that far off and this is 6". I think that is a reasonable price this time. Unlike the Clone Wars figures.

Well we don't have toy's r us in my city, but I do think there is one in Linköping, about 40 min by car from here. But yeah, it's great it's not way over priced. If the price tag 229kr holds.

I saw some of the 3 3/4" figures today for the first time. I like the packaging but it's pretty much the same ol' fare besides that.

I haven't read anything official, but the two Wal-Marts closest to me have both re-set (with new product on the shelf) and neither have pegs or shelf space/tags for the 6" series, so I'd say it looks like they won't be, which stinks.

When I was in phone from the guy at toys r us he said it was an exclusive. They should be in Swedish toys r us stores week 39. What I thought was strange was that it was exclusive. Maybe toys r us got a deal or something there.

As big a build up as the 6" series had, info has been hard to come by on the specifics. The idea that the largest retailer in the U.S. seemingly won't be carrying it would seem to be the sort of thing that would've leaked out or gotten more coverage. Same with it being a TRU exclusive in Sweeden, and likely to various other retailers in other nations as well.

I saw the 6" Sandtrooper and R2-D2 in the flesh this weekend. Interesting pieces, but I could live without them and be happy with it. Especially for $19.99 each. I would rather have the Batman Tv Series figures than figures I already have multiple versions of in just a slightly smaller size.

So far I haven't spotted any of the 6" figures at a Wal-Mart. One Wal-Mart had NO Star Wars figures at all, not even any 3 3/4" figures or any related Star Wars toys.

I don't think Wal-Mart is going to be carrying the 6" Black series at all. All of my local Wal-Marts (and I've hit 5 of them) have re-set their toy aisles, and none of them have tags/shelf space for them. Thankfully Target does carry the 6" series and I've picked up Luke and the Sandtrooper. Maul looks great, but I'm not a PT guy. I'm on the fence with R2-D2.
Wal-Mart is going to be carrying the 3 3/4" Black series, but I've yet to see them on the pegs. A friend and fellow collector said he heard that the 3 3/4" Black series was recalled because they were having issues with the bubble staying attached to the card, which would explain a lot because I haven't seen them anywhere. Most stores do have the new lower priced "Legends" line in abundance though.
