I've recently broke down and starting buying up these figures I couldn't bring myself before to paying 9 to 10 bucks for a Star Wars figure but once I broke down and saw how much more quality they put into these well now I'm just hooked. Anybody know who's coming in the next wave?

Bought a loose Wal-Mart Exclusive Jabba the Hutt on Ebay. Does anybody have an opinion on it being good or bad?

No idea, I just started on Clone Wars. If you like it that is good enough I just find it annoying that they named it the vintage collection, because now when I search for vintage star wars this is all I find lol.

Have they stopped with the foil stamping lately cause I haven't seen any of the new figures done so?

Here is headsup to my Star Wars peeps, Toyrus.com is having a sale on their exclusive The Force Unleashed and Republic Commandos 5-packs for 29.99 each. That's ten bucks off these awesome exclusives and if you over 50 bucks then shipping is free. The Starkiller figure is a must have!!!

I found at one of my Five Below stores Star Wars Vintage for only 5 bucks each. I wish I taken better advantage of this and bought more but they had them at the register and I was in a long line so I didn't get all that I wanted. I'm hoping they all get these figures cause that is a great price for these figures.

Found the same series of Star Wars Vintage now at TJMaxx for the same price of 4.99 each. It's strange that just this wave I've been finding for 5 bucks each but I am enjoying the price.

Wow , I got this news late but still did not see any of SW wave 4 at TJX stores until Dec. 22. Then they were almost all gone by the 24th. I was happy to get an extra of the female bounty hunter Zam Wesell for myself and to get a few others as gifts. I had to go to Marshalls and TJMaxx to find the few I got.

Yeah I heard about them showing up @ Marshall's just before Christmas but I only managed to find one, the Senate Guard. It seems like it was mostly the "AOTC" wave that was shwoing up from what I've seen.
Well, looks like Wal-Mart is ignoring the January 30th street date for the 2012 Star Wars line. Tonight I found the entire Phamton Menace wave, sans Qui-Gon and Darth Maul. Cards and figures both look great. Unfortunately they were mixed right in with the remainder of the vintage figures from the last few years, which may mean they have no intention of marking them down the way they did the Clone Wars and standard figures.

The new Darth Maul is worth taking a look at. I have not seen any of these in person yet, but it looks like he got a better sculpt. I would like to see sharper horns . I will definitely get the new queen in her black gown . There are a few others that I can pass on.

Ive been wanting to get into the vintage collection but its hard plunging in on these when they have been on the shelves for awhile. A good price point would certainly help.

I bought the Bom Vimdin figure last year, but I have only seen it that once in stores. I have not seen Dr. Evazan or Ponda Baba. Were they released in small quantities? Will they be rereleased again? What happened?

Anybody found the Darth Malgus figure yet? I see those things going over 40 bucks on Ebay currently.

Saw today some of the new exclusive 3-packs at Target and man are all 3 sets piss poor selections in my opinion. I'll wait for these to hit clearance before I make a purchase.

I was checking the website where i usually my action figures when saw that Star wars Vintage Collection wave 16 is available on pre-order. The release date is for 30th November 2012. But they are available on pre-order which means i can get ahsoka and obi before their release. I am a vintage guy, so I love star wars vintage collection more than other. Some of the figures in wave 16 looks really cool to me. I think this wave would be available on other sites as well like toys r us, toywiz and others. The figures in wave 16 that i know are available for pre-order are: Obi Wan Kenobi Ahsoka Tano Aurra Sing Lumat and many others. Some pictures of the figures:Source: www.pastgenerationtoys.com/Star-Wars-Vintage-Collection-Star-Wars-Hasbro-PreOrders/b/2617946011P.S. If anyone got a review of any figure from Wave 16, then please let me know.

Isn't pre-order just that you pay now and get them when they are released?

Yes and i think the main thing about pre-order is, you can secure your share. I have seen that sometimes when a figure hits the market first time, it gets out of stock soon though it only happens for highly popular figures. When i sometimes buy something over pre order i only order one or two figure that i think could be very popular.

TJ Maxx will have lots of Vintage Collection around Christmas. They should be 3.99 or 4.99. If some terrible kid rips a card they will usually mark it down to 2 bucks. Since I collect loose I always scoop those up.
I have also seen some of these at Tuesday Morning for 3.99. I got Jango Fett and Quinlon Vos there.

It is actually nice to see the Vintage Collection resurface although the only figure in the first new wave of these that I want is the Hoth Rebel Soldier which I already found at a Target store. I bought the only one they had, plenty of the others.

Last night thought briefly about Snoke, as you do, basically stopped to think, "he's an iconic enuff dude to own as an action-figure". So today, after a way too grown-up, messy, noisy work-day; took a quick detour on the chance of snagging a Snoke off the rack at my local store. Only wanting 3.75" soft-goods version (Vintage Collection). Expected nothing. Surprised to find two hanging. So grabbed the one with less curved card, then thought, "eh, might as well check the eyes/paint against the other". (sure we all know how that goes with modern Hasbro stuff) I settled on the left one, more sorta' 'deformed brain-addled evil'. The right one seemed too ... keen, even if the color-wash brings something out. Pretty distinctly different head deets going on there at any rate! Am I right to suspect the darker version on the right is the style used for the Force Link 2.0 version?
