couldn't find anything here on AFA covering smack-ups, thought i would start a thread. my cousin had grandfather that collected toys in the 80s, and after he passed away, his toys were split up amongst all of the grandkids. amongst his box was a few skateboard smack-ups. he knows that i collect garbage pail kid cheap toys, and figured these held some similarity, so he wanted to push them off on me. i am trying to focus my collection a bit, keeping away from stray toylines, so i passed on his trade offer. but i told him about AFA and said i would ask around and get some info for him if he wanted to move them for trade/cash. so, does anyone know anything about these? are some more rare than others? i found a link via google search that made this toyline seem like the ultimate holy grail of toy collecting, yet in checking ebay ended listings, they only roll for around $10-20. any help here would be much appreciated! i have been trying to get my cousin to join up here on AFA, because i feel he would be a great addition to the community, but he's kind of a anti-internet guy.

about 5 or so years ago info on skateboard smackups was near impossible to find, and they were tough as hell to track down. but now i've seen more than a few full sets go on ebay in the past 2 years. i'd like to pick them up loose if i ever found them in person. i've seen them go for as cheap as $3-$5 individually unfortunately. i think the more violent they are, the more desirable, especially Patty Plate Glass. i'd really like to find Ronnie Road Kill.
