This line has some really great figures in it. I especially like Optik, Karatti and Nocturna.

Yeah, but I don't like the "intergalactic futuristic" setting and concept of this line. I much prefer He-Man in his traditionnal barbarian setting. In this "new" concept, I don't feel him at home...

I think the problem this line and cartoon ran into was it came out way too soon after the original MOTU had run it's course. The figures (in my opinion) are vastly superior to the original MOTU line as they have original sculpts rather than most of them having the same body mould, arm and leg moulds. Also i really dig the cartoons as they have story arcs rather than the Original MOTU cartoon which was basically stand alone stories. The concept that Skeletor and the mutants don't get on and that Skeletor isn't in charge of the mutants but manipulates them to do his bidding fascinates me as i grew up with Skeletor always being the leader of the villains but now he seems to be more conniving and ruthless. Another addition i liked was the 2 planets, with the heroes on one and the villains on Denebria and they would attack the other planet. The animation on the show was superior, the figures are superior made and the idea behind the show was stronger. In conclusion i would say (now this is just me personally) that The New Adventures of He-Man trumps MOTU in every category. Oh and before i get ripped apart i am also a fan of MOTU too.

I really like this line as well and I agree with Ludevig, the figures themselves are allot more unique looking than the original line. I have most of them loose and complete and only need a few but am missing most of the vehicles. Anyone know which were the harder pieces in the line to track down?

Missile Armour Flipshot is the hardest to get, then it is Too-tall Hoove and Hook'em flogg. He's interesting. He is made out of the principle of the centaur, only all his "bodies" are human.

Hello all I was just wondering if anyone here digs the New Adventures of He-Man figures as much as I do?

One of my favorite toy lines. I actually sold my collection years ago and I've been scooping up bits and pieces ever since. I still have a sealed Astro Sub. I love this toyline, and I think the only thing holding it back is the negative stigma given to it by He-Man fans. Had this series been called by a different name it could have been a hit!

Yeah, I know the purists around the way just put off a bad stigma for these guys. I enjoy the line and did just as you did. Sold my complete and I mean complete collection several years back. Regret it to this day. Anyhow just starting to get back the figures I sold. Not sure what to go with carded or loose or both.
