Hi everybody, was wondering if someone could help me. I just recently bought a 1979 star wars trash monster graded by afa and would like to know where it comes from. I don't think it came carded but rather in a playset of some sort. Could somebody let me know. Thanks.

Graded by AFA huh, interesting. Yeah it's also known as Dionoga and it came with the Deathstar Playset that is like a tower, not the circular cardboard one that wasn't available in the U.S.

I have seen a few of these AFA graded and still wonder why. The sets complete go for far less than anything graded by AFA but who knows. I would send one to AFA if I didn't think it was such a joke to collectors.

I thought this went with an MOTU He-Man playset like Snake Mountain or something, but can't find it anywhere. if anyone has any ideas, please let me know. PM me if you want is as well. It has a hole on the middle of the mouth that goes straight through to the back if that helps! Thanks!

Yeah it goes with the original Return of the Jedi Jabba the Hutt. From 1983 i think. It goes on the front of his seat/platform.

Also, the hole on the front, that you referred to, is a string attached to a small clip, that is supposed to be the collar for slave Leia, if they had made her in 1983. A very hard piece to find, I might add.

Gift from my beautiful, thoughtful girlfriend. The guy at the comic shop didn't even know who it is. It has no eyes and is playing something that vaguely resembles a clarinet. The sole of the right foot is imprinted, "Kenner China." The bottom of the left reads, "1998 LFL" (Lucas Films Ltd), so it's from Star Wars. Anyone got a name for this lovely character? Thanks. BTW, first time checking out the forum. Might have to hang out a while. Attachments:
