I hjust picked up 5 of the 6 figures this weekend. They look mostly complete but I am missing 1 weapon & 1 backpack. Anyone have pics of MIB examples so I can match them up correctly?
Galaxy warrior, do you still have the pic of the Trundaxx vehicle? i thought i saved it on my hard drive at work, but now i can't find it.

These were the guys that had interchangable parts, right?

Thats the thing, even if someone had parts for these guys, they don't know what they are anyway.

Sounds like these are a MISB line like Infaceables and Manglors.

i have the base complete w/box i just need a new twin cannon a piece of it broke. and i have aqua and nega i think. which is cool about the line is you dont really need them complete becuase they are all interchangible like multi-bot or modulok. so you can mix and match pieces and the base comes with all the same peiecs as most of the figures. but i still try to get them complete. they just dont come up too pften like you said noone knows what the pieces go to .

I have a few spare weapons, but they don't look exactly like the ones that came with my figures. They are duller in color and have a few differences here and there in the mold. Maybe they are from the playset or something.

the playset pieces are slightly different in plastic and mold. only slightly though. they all can serve as parts to be mixed and matched

Does anyone have more detailed pics of Mantech figures? I have seen the ones on Virtual Toy Chest as well as a few off Ebay, but some of them seem to show different parts with different figures. I am hoping to match up my parts to the proper figures and am having trouble especially with the green & red guy. Maybe a scan from the back of the box?

Check out my find at Value Village yesterday for only $5.99!!! It is complete with box and insert and only has two broken pieces - a gun handle on each of the large silver guns. I even had a coupon that got me a free Sega MS game!

I have some pics i can post when i get home tonight, though they are of boxed figures and are hard to see if they are complete. I think I have a pretty good idea of what each figure came with, will post tonight. Looks like all figures include the small little black extension piece. Once we sort it all out, I can work on getting a Mantech section up on the site.

After going through the MIB pics on Virtual toychest as well as the few i have, you seem to have it all correct Snipertoys. Aquatech gets the spear gun (I have an extra if you need it) and Doomtech gets the black long single gun, all the others look correct. As for Nagatech, it looks like he does have 2 of the smaller silver guns, you can see the second one attached to the backpack in the pic

I think they were called mantech or mechaman. Anyone know about them. I have 4 of them they have removable or interchangeable body parts and accessories that connect/disconnect to them. They are actually pretty cool looking. I will try to put pics up after while. James

I had the yellow dude back in the day. I threw him on the sidewalk to show another kid how you take him apart and put him back together. There was no putting him back together after that.

www.collectiondx.com/toy_review/1984/mantechI remember wanting these way back when. My mom gave my friend's mom money for me to buy something while while we (my friend, his mom, and I) went out to Target. I wanted to get Mantech, which my mom clearly provided enough money for me to buy it, but my friend's mom wouldn't let me buy it because she thought it cost too much (I don't know- maybe something like $9.99). I ended up getting Secret Wars Dr. Doom. Later, when I told my mom about it, she told me she would've bought it for me if she was there. In hindsight, I'm glad I ended up with Dr. Doom, because those Mantech figures look cheap as hell. The helmets are blocky and ugly and figures have lame rubber heads. The Mantech figures look like something found in a McDonald's Happy Meal, or a bath tub toy from Walgreens.

I'll be honest, they seem like a poor man's Centurions to me. Granted they have a playset, but the basic concept seems to have been far better done with that line.

The playset's kinda cool ( I have one, but no figures...odd). I'll admit, I was never really tempted to buy the figures. X-Changers (their knock off) actually always seemed much neater to me.

Yeah, pretty sure mine is complete. Its been packed away for the last few years so not sure when I would be able to dig it out. It came with quite a few of the different colored guns, I think around 11 or 12 of them.

Okay. Thanks for the reply! But it's still cool to own it, I think I'll use mine with my MOTU figures. I also have 5 more of the silver gun to the leftmost on my last picture, but they are a little different in mold and plastic. I guess it's from some of the figures, or maybe some other Remco stuff.

Here's my complete line of Mantech Figs. I think they are all 100% complete, except the green guy may be missing one gray gun. Not sure why he'd have a gray gun when the rest of his accessories are black. Gott love Remco.

Love this line. I have an AquaTech from my childhood; been thinking about trying to complete a collection since it's a small line but finding complete examples - or even figuring out what "complete" is has been a chore.....

I once saw an auction for what could be described as "knock off" Mantech, except that they were produced by Remco. Looks like they were using the molds again, and this time following more of a Centurions vibe with wind attachments and the like. I'll dig around and see if I can find the images.
EDIT: found some info - it's called Cyberforce and it's billed as "from the interchangeable system of Mantech". There is very little info about them out there.

Oh god - not another!! I think I'll have to draw a line at knockoffs of the knockoffs. Where will the madness end?

I thought ManTech predated Centurions by several years?
