I actually picked up a loose lot of figures earlier this summer at a garage sale and haven't actually gone through them. I kinda like the line, the good thing is you can find them MOC cheap. The cartoon was pretty cool to. Anyone know of a site with good pics of these guys?

Does anyone here collect those figures made by Kenner in the late 80s or early 90s?
I'm trying to get more information on the unproduced third series that has several prototype and test shot figures floating around.
I got the Doctor and Pin head Beetlejuice figures off eBay and have seen the Archaelogist Beetlejuice and Billy the Kid figures as well. Does anyone know if there where any other planned figures? And does anyone know where I might be able to get my hands on them and the ones I listed above but do not have?
Thanks for any help

Was watching the auctions, did you get them in yet (I know plerose can sometimes be slow to ship)? Yes, lets see some pics when they arrive. Also take a look through the Cartoon figure section, their may be more info somewhere in their about unproduced Beetlejuice stuff.

Yes, I just got them in, they are on the wrong card just to see what they looked like in the final plastic inserts and on card before mass production. I have seen these figures before off card in various prototype states. I've only seen Archaelogist Beetlejuice unfinished (and I didn't get him either). I remember seeing billy the kid, but I do not remember what state he was in. Doctor Beetlejuice Pinhead Beetlejuice (I think I\ve also seen him referred to as pinpal beetlejuice) i867.photobucket.com/albums/ab238/titan2323/002-2.jpg

Activation on the crotch!!! That just adds to awesomeness of this unreleased toy.

I had a couple of these figures as a kid i remember having one with his black and white suit and also his purple suit he got married to lydia in. Michael Keaton seemed to have a good head scan for toys, that picture with the activation mechanism on his crotch (lol) has a good head scan and all the batman figures based around the two films (batman and batman returns) all had good head scans of keaton.

These figures were awesome - kind of released as a tie-in to the animated series, even though the figures were more movie accurate depictions of Michael Keaton in make-up than anything like the very stylized toon! The grave playset was suitably macabre. The shrunken head hunter and Otho the obnoxious were available too, as was Adam Maitland I believe. Excellent Kenner product.

Just to add, as it occurred to me, the figures, released some years after the movie, were part of that early nineties cycle of gross-out action figures that tried to emulate the TMNT in popularity - for example 'Toxic Crusaders' and 'Captain Planet's Villains.

Early '90s were some damn fun times for toys, great time to be growing up.
If they released Shish Kabob or Exploding Beetle now some fat soccer mom would take to court.
