I think Pirates of Dark Water actually came out in the early 90's so it doesn't really count as an 80's figure line. But it was still very cool. I don't have any of these myself, but I hope to get a collection of them going once I'm done with Dino Riders. The line looks to be quite easy and cheap to collect. Only about 8 figures and one vehicle / ship. I've yet to find a very comprehensive web site showing them off. Does anyone know of one?

I wish I could find a pic of the vehicle that was produced, The Wraith. I can only find MIB pictures. Has cool box art but I really wanna see what the toy looks like.

That ship looks pretty cool. Has an inflatable sail it looks like. Thats an interesting idea. Kinda reminds me of the Turtle Blimp from TMNT.

Unfortunately the sail is not inflateable. That would have been very cool but instead it's just a sheet of plastic that's stretched across the mast. It's by no means indestructable plastic either

Aww thats disapointing. That pic makes it look inflatible. I wonder if it would be difficult to make your own sail out of a starched fabric?

I'm only missing Ioz and the Waith for a loose collection. A moc ren is on his way the comic books kept pretty true to the cartoon. My best memory of it was that it was the only cartoon that my dad would watch with me back in the day =)

I love this line. This is the next one I am going into with full force. They seem to be fairly easy to come by. Not to expensive.

The Strant figure is great-looking, shame it was never made. Easily cooler than over half the toyline.

Would anyone happen to have a complete image of what the 10 unproduced figures look like? It would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Pirates of Darkwater was a fun cartoon. I used to have multiples of these figures MOC including the wraith.

I don't now if anyone knows or is interested but the Wraith was recoloured and released as the Dragon Wing in 1994 for Hasbros Mortal Kombat line. The firing harpoon at the front was renemed the Shooting Sorcerer Cannon!!

Loved this cartoon, but the story never wrapped up, huh? My biggest love for it was in the Sega game - only figure I've ever come across in the wild was Jenna - but her nose was bit and she couldn't stand unsupported, so no go. I wouldn't mind deliberately hunting them in the future...
Edit: I actually meant Tula (not Jenna). But now I realise they never even produced any female characters for this line at all, wonder if there were knockoffs released because the character resemblance was very strong.

I'm a big fan of this show and action figure line. Does anyone here collect it? I'd love to see your collections!
