I finally got in the last figure to complete my 24" Shogun Warriors set of figures - Rodan. Just wondering if anyone knows how to safely remove the back piece to re-attach the wings as well has how to string a new rubber band to get his action features working?

Sorry to get back to you so late, but I have an answer for you (although at this point you probably already figured it out)! I just got one as well. Isn't it awsome! Anyway, what you need to do is VERY carefully spread the connecting tongs on the back apart. Do the top fist, spreading them and gently pulling up on the back piece until it slides up over the lip of the tongs. Repeat for the bottom. Once off, you'll see where to hook the rubber band. The wings are attached to the hook on the opposite side of the body. It's not real hard.

Awesome, thanks for the tip Erisk! I haven't tried it yet but will give it a go tonight. It took me awhile to finally score one on Ebay, but I got him at a good deal, for $85 including shipping.

No problem. Got any pics of your Jumbo Collection? I'm only missing Grendizer/Golderak. And various pieces to the ones I have. Know where to get parts?

I have some old pics posted in the Rogues gallery (look in the collection pic thread for the link), though I want to get some new ones up.
Pretty tough to get parts for any of these guys other than by dumb luck (finding them in a weapons lot) or shelling out a ton of $$ on Ebay. I have a few spare Mazinga missiles and a Dragun axe as well as a few parts for the smaller diecast guys.

The Rodan brings up an interesting question. Mattel did Godzilla and Rodan. Does anyone know if they had anything else planned. I always felt Mecha-Godzilla would have been a nice fit. Anyone know anything?

Welcome to the forums Sketone. Cool looking customs, how long did it roughly take to complete each one?
