There's a list in the Tomart Action Figure Encyclopedia. It includes 7th Doctor, Mel, K-9, 4th Doctor, Tetrap, Cyberman, Ice Warrior, Ace, Davros, Dalek and the Tardis. They came out with many variants of the Daleks and and a few variants of the regular figures. I traded with a guy from the UK for a red Dalek and a Cyberman. The monster/robot figures look pretty cool, but the people look lame. Too many smiles!

Do you have an idea when the Product Enterprise Limited line was put out? I wonder if this new line is based on the new TV series?

Just came across some info that the original Dapol line was re-released around 1997 or so (they are on blue cards). Not sure if any new figures were put out, though i am pretty sure the Timelords are from the new series. I am trying to gather as much info as i can on this line as I would like to add a section for it to the archive soon.

Email sent The Product Enterprise talking figures line was released from about 2001 onwards. They also released some neat little Daleks with pull back motors. Here's a pic of my Product Enterprise stuff (except the one on the left, thats my Tomy talking Dalek from the 70's )

Thanks!
Fortunatly this is mine from when I was a kid, but yeah, to get a good one with all it's origional limbs (not repros) would probably set you back upwards of £40 ($80)

I've got about half-a-dozen of the Dapol figures and I'm still not sure if I like the line or not Quality of the line seems poor, some of the sculpts are a bit rough, some joints are loose even fresh of the card (Then again, these are the people who brought us the five-sided TARDIS console and two armed Davros so QC and accuracy don't appear high priority) and they're actually four inches tall so look a little odd next to 3 3/4" figures. I still seem to keep buying them, though

im hopeing with this new line thayll do a few of the old incarnations of the doctor , would be a nice set , but think itll be more likely the 4 doctors getting showed in the new series. i started to collect the new line figures and got to say i like em, but definitly be a bonus if some of the old series baddys got relised in the line (doughtfull i know but i can dream ).

I don't know if the Doctor Who 3 3/4" Dapol figures ever made it to the US? They seem to be gaining value recently and are becoming quite collectable. I've just started a collection of loose figures and wondered if there are any fellow collectors here on the forum? I saw a 1st Doctor prototype figure sell for £700 recently. Flipper

Buying these guys from overseas with BINs on Ebay all individually can get costly, especially with the currency exchange. Scoring a lot is really the only way I found with this line.
Still need the Tardis 25th Anniversary box set as well but it is getting up there $$ wise.

well, i am in the uk, so i can probably give you the low down on these-man it seems so long ago. there is a reason why you guys are finding these so hard to find, and it has to do with the show itself. the dapol figures came out in around 1988,and i remember it so well because i was working in a comic book shop at the time, doctor who was on air back then, but it was no-where near as popular with the mainstreem kids as it is now,the figure licence was not picked up by a big toy company because the show just wasnt that big with children ,dapol was famous for making toy trains and train kits so it really came as a suprise when they announced dr who- and these were the first dr who toys since 1976 so it was adult collectors who wanted them and they were mostly sold by speciality comic shops although later on they were stocked by big stores but in very limited quantities.and mostly only the doctor himself. so there were never that many of them made compared to a mainstream toy line and with the show now being more popular than it has ever been, these old guys are gaining value as new fans look for the older stuff. my advice is to buy them now- because the value is gonna go on rising until the show dwindles in popularity and theres no sign of that for a long time.

there were some famous mistakes made by dapol which are now quite hard to find.
the story goes that dapol were sent black and white stills of characters from which to make the figures (although this sounds pretty doubtful this is what we were told in the comic shop) and so there were some mistakes- the first release of k9 was made in dark green plastic and later corrected to grey, the first release tardis consol has five sides and not the correct six,and the first release davros has 2 arms!!! these and the very limited release millenium daleks are among the most valuable of the dapol figures.

i kept hoping the popularity of the new series would get a new 3 3/4 line out. i got about 10 of the dapol figures. i still want the early cyberman and a master. but most of the main human figures im not that interested in because i think they look the worst of the line.

Sorry to bump an old topic - I just bought some Dapol Dr Who figures off eBay and wow, I was really caught off-guard by how expensive it was to collect these (especially when you combine it with the shipping from UK to Canada, the paypal and eBay fees). The bidding really got up there near the end.
I was thinking that I'll have to sell a few of the figures to cover some of my costs. Is there a recommendation for the best way to gauge how much to ask for a Dapol Dr Who figure? I was looking at the eBay pricing as my initial starting point but am wondering if there's a price guide or other reference.
From my own experience buying some loose Dapol figures at a local Canadian hobby store 2 years ago, it looks like the figures go for $20-$25CAN loose, and $40-$80 carded depending on the popularity of the character.

I haven't really been following their prices for the last year or two (maybe they shot up in price), but the daleks were usually the most expensive around $25 each MOC. The other figures about $15 each. Loose were usually less. Maybe prices on these recently shot up, but there has always been sellers with pretty expensive BINs on these for awhile now. I just waited until cheaper ones came up

Yeah that's true, some of those BiN prices on eBay do seem very outrageous (although they sometimes matched what the hobby store had wanted for them here in Canada - perhaps eBay sellers and toy stores all have the same high markup). Although I found the shipping to really be the killer on amping up the cost to buy these figures - was watching eBay for the past few weeks and never really saw any sellers in NAmerica, they were all UK. I think I'll just sell the figures locally as a single lot, as that way I can average out the more desirable figures among some less popular ones (e.g. Ace, Mel) and not have to worry about keeping track of the worth of each character. Worst case, I guess I can just put it up on eBay myself and sell it back to my fellow ebayers across the pond?
