The loosing interest thread got me to thinking... What collector doesn't go through ups and downs or from one line to another to keep the collecting jones at bay? Who doesn't get bored looking at the same ebay searches over and over? What helps get me through the rough patches is that I have a secret weapon: a love for Mr. T. I've been collecting Mr. T memorabilia for a while now and have a decent pile of crap to brag on. The great thing about Mr. T stuff is that it really crosses over into a ton of collectable categories. Toys, clothing, lunch and cereal boxes, movies, animation cells, beach towels, soap on a rope - you name it and they probably strapped Mr. T's face on it. I think people forget how huge he was back in the 80's. I'm constantly amazed at the randomness of Mr. T offerings out there - and that keeps the hunt fresh. Get bored in one category, there's always another to dive into. Has anyone else tapped into a good cross-over property to collect? Here are pics of some of the T-stuff I keep at the office.

That is one cool office you have there. I wish they made figs of the cartoon like they did with chuck norris

Apparently, they did make cartoon toys. This is a pic a snagged from a UK ebay auction (that I spaced bidding on). This was the first time I've ever seen one of these. The description said he was about 6". You gotta love the his huge grin. I doubt he really came with the guns. Anybody know more about these guys?

However i do have the large 12" Mr T doll and both the smaller 3 3/4" as well as the 6" A-Team figures. I passed on the 6" one at a local flea market for years, then finally broke down and bought him. Anyone else have any other Mr. T toy pics?
