Anybody got radio shack transformers. I picked up a working "shackwave" today, he was also known as "Astro Magnum". according to wikipedia. He is exactly like shockwave, but grey with a sticker on front that says, galactic man. any info on these guys, are they hard to find? Tanks spank

I'm not 100% sure on this, but Astro Magnum (aka 4 Changable, Laser Vulcan, Vulcan Base) was the original. Then Hasblow bought a license to make Shockwave (and re-molded his robo-wang), then shortly thereafter, Radio Shack released "Galactic Man" (aka Shackwave). I think the only differences are pink parts on Astro, and clear on Galactic, and stickers.

I knew that It was from radio shack, but I wasn't sure on the name. I just got him today, he's missing the end cap but he works and is great condition and I have a badly beaten up G1 shockwave. He is awesome. Thanks for the info kylefromdirtnapp.

Was Shackwave the only Transformer that was put out by Radio Shack in the 80s? I remember also seeing Soundwave ko's in my local Saan store back in the day but that's about it.
