Megadons - anyone have more info?

Does anyone out there know any more about Megadons?

I have two of these vehicles, and I know of a third. They have a wind up walking action and are designed to fit both 3 3/4" and MOTU figures. They were sold by Hales in the UK, possibly under license as the box also has copyright Creata international, inc. manhatten beach CA.

Was a figure line ever produced to go with them? The figures on the box don't look like production versions but maybe something came later?.

the figures were just modified existing figures used for example.no figures were released for this line. im very jealous if your megadons ever need a new home LET ME KNOW

I've been looking for the 3rd one for a while now and I've never seen any come up on ebay. I picked mine up from a little toy shop when I was a kid and that was the only place I ever saw them.

No idea of their market values, but I think I'd only ever trade the RRAC for something I really wanted, and my ITAC is one of those things I doubt I'll ever part with

These are my favorite knockoff vehicles produced during that time. I have never see these on ebay. I am very jealous of your set. Keep your eyes peeled........that other one will show up eventually.

i had the itac one, ive been serching high and low even for info on it never mind the figure , got to say for me it was one of the best figures i got at the time, seen yours make me wish i still had em

daft question but did it come with a diffrent head ? the one i had i think had anntis on it (got to say it was over 20 year ago so maybe just the mind) but it definitly was the long necked one i had?

yes thats the one !! , and the colour matchs what i remember , the neck use to move when it walked too , the weird thing is i never remember getting rid of mine , he just went !!! (think it was around the time i started transformer collecting when he and just about all my other figures went ).
would be great to see all 3 together , hope you find one for your collection too.

Wow, these take me back. I had all three as a kid and drove myself NUTS looking for that generic warrior to ride atop them.

I may still have some parts knocking around...*checks basement*.

These strike me as a scaled down / KO version of the 1:24th Zoids (which im a big fan of ). They look to deliver the same play value as well (motorized walking ability, ability to carry action figures, designed to look like beast).

Id have been all over these in the past.

Here are pics of an SSAC (Striker Saurus Attack Carrier) I recently snagged. There's a door that opens to reveal the gears inside. I don't know what the pull knob behind the seat is supposed to accomplish.

Do you know if the SSAC came with stickers like the others? Also what in the world does the knob behind the seat do?

My SSAC came with the same stickers as the others, I just haven't got around to putting them on yet. I'll have to check but I'm sure the box refers to the little pile-driver knob as a gun or something.

Centurn, I'll gie you a heads up if I spot another. Every Megadon deserves a loving home!

Gort, does the box back have pics of the entire series (its just the 3 right?)

The boxes only have pics of the one inside, however the sticker sheets are generic and have the names and crests of all three. I'm almost certain there were only the three made as I've never heard so much as a whisper to the contary (although I would be happy to be proved wrong!)

I was wondering if anyone here knows anything about a series of Action Figures called Megadons?

Anyone have any ideas of value or anything?

We've got an Action Figure called a Megadons SSAC, but don't know anything about it or anything, so wondered if anyone can shed any light.

How much are ITAC and RRAC worth nowadays (including box, manual, sticker sheet) ?

i bought an RRAC back in December on Ebay for about $20 plus shipping, though the box was pretty beat up, maybe $30-40 with a decent box.
