I have three of these including the yellow and green one in the picture above. These seem to be prone to age spots. All three of mine have spots on the arms or legs. However, I was able to I.D. one of my unknown weapons using the link you provided. ;D

I know I found a great site for these little critters but have now lost the url, but I remember that it seemed like they knew what they were talking about and that the figs were released by DFC in 1984 but the cards say MTC (multi toy company) 1983. You know, the company that released Nightmare Warriors among others. So, does anyone know what's up?

The figures are definitely stamped Multi Toy Corp. (MTC).

If you 'were' to sell these what would you ask? I am hunting this set down...and wondering what they are worth?
By the way...wow...you spend alot on eBay...nice items though. I hope you post pictures of that DFC set...not the carded figure but the little DFC figures.

If anyone has the beetle that came with Carnivora or King Stinga, I need one of them. Anyone own either of the vehicles?

Has anyone ever seen one of the vehicles boxed. With the Bugmen card art being pretty cool and the Dragonriders boxes having different art than the cards, I thought it would be neat to see.

Have never seen any of them boxed and have only seen a loose Grass Sled come up on Ebay in the number of years I've been collecting the line.

Thanks 10incher. That's ok, I can picture in my head what a packaged grass sled might look like in a yellow Bugmen box and it's awesome. If one ever comes up, please someone save the pic and post it after the auction.

As a kid, my brothers & I had King Stinga, Carnivora, & Webspinner. Those toys are solid, & I'm sure if I dug them up from storage they would still be in one piece.

I recently made a list of all the toys that I recognize as having back in the day when I went through the toy archives. The Bugmen of Insecta Carnivora was the one and only of the line that I had but I remember him vividly. These toys were solid except for the antennae which broke off at some point (I don't actually remember him with antennae so it must have been early on). None of the pictures that I have found online show the back of him but I distinctly remember him having either red or pink polka dots on his yellow back (real scary). His pet was a brown cockroach I believe. Anyway, I found a couple on ebay and they were asking $20+ for broken incomplete ones. A bit silly for a little toy that was cool but never anything spectacular. Anyone know what a good price would be for one of these complete but not necessarily carded?

Sold a few loose complete ones a couple years back for $30 each. Its been awhile though, that value may be up or down.

$30 dollars for carded seems reasonable but $50 would be too much for me. I have to admit though, looking at shuptrine's pic they do display very nicely.

The figures are easy to find compared to the two vehicles.
