i dont know how many of you know what these are , but you may have come across them at some point. when i was a kid these were huge by me. every kid at the park had these. they were way more popular around my way than say battle beast or muscle men. each group has its own set. all figures are numbered on the foot each with a letter that states what group its part of K= karatemen M= monsters W= wrestlers N= ninjas. all are also marked with the year and companty SOMA. heres a pic showing some of each set. there are many of each and variant colors as well.

I've got a few of these, but I never knew the feet were marked. Thanks for the tip! Do you know how many are in each set?

The four wrestling guys don't have a "W" on their feet, but they are numbered. I also have some SOMA pirates, dinosaurs, and larger rubber guys. I don't care much for the larger ones. The smaller guys must have been sold in 4-packs.

some of the wrestlers arent stamped with a W perhaps it was later instated when they made all the different lines. they were sold in 4's but were also found in vending machines all the places you might find superballs im not a big fan of the later rubber guys.

I loved these figures, you could have the ninjas face the wrestlers, etc. Unfortunately, my dog also loved these figures, about three chews and then swallow...I have seen them reproduced in recent years with some of the classic designs, such as the hulk hogan and lucha figure, with different paint schemes.

I believe that I have three paint versions of some of these. Which ones are the more recent ones?
