Ok, here we go again. Another obscure space line for your entertainment (or disdain).
Some of you might remember me trying to ID this little chap a few months back.
From which I discovered:-
from a Playmobil site:
And from our very own Proteus:
So, neat little clear robot guy apparently has some weird alien friends? It was only a matter of time...
(don't know if that's the same green figure as in the first quote yet, but it was in the same box of stuff as the alien)
To be quite frank I think I may have made a better job of an alien aged about ten using an actual finger fright and the legs of a Hestair Heroes figure, but I was still thrilled to find him. I love this type of oddball generic space stuff.
This line seems almost impossible to find pictures or information on and aside from what I own all I've found is a very rough pic of the same ailen MOC and a pic of the astronaut figure.
Anyone has more info, or better still pictures please share it here.

I remember it as part of a range of space figures that I assumed to be a last flowering of the Busy Bodies line (Play-Big in the original). They were in the early 80s, and certainly had the Play-big arms and legs, but their chests were rounder. I couldn't guess now if they were official Play-Big, or made under licence in UK, or just an unofficial adaptation... ...they were: a transparent one (a robot) with a circuit-type printed face and a white two-pronged antenna plugged into head, with a white ray-gun; a green-bodied one with yellow head and white flippers and head cover; and two monsters who had the basic bodies but without arms, instead a rubber upper body fitted on them (rather like something to go on the end of a pencil), one was blue and beaky, the other red with big round eyes and a wide mouth- they also had big green feet.
And from our very own Proteus:
busy bodies had a legendary space line with 2 part space helmets with mirrored gold visors, and a clear plastic robot with a yellow head with circuits drawn on and a big antenna stickin out of his head.
i remember the alien in the set being a figure with no arms which had a big rubber finger puppet pushed over the top of the figure-very similar to some finger puppets that were out at the time called finger frights
