I'm a bit 'old school', been collecting for thirty years, and I have some really cool stuff that I will NEVER sell.
But - I have noticed a distinct downturn in the the quality of toy 'prototypes' offered om eBay these days. . Does an unpainted production figure REALLY qualify as as a 'prototype'?
This seems to be the only kind of 'prototype' available these days, unless you happen to know a worker in China or Hong Kong who is willing to smuggle out a decent bit of kit...
Anyways, I actually am lucky enough to own some genuine prototypes from various series (Aliens, Marvel Su8per Heroes etc.) and would be happy to post pics if anyone wants to see them.

I completely agree. I used to hunt protos on eBay but got frustrated by all the $50 BIN "prototypes" that, like you state, are just unpainted factory pulls. There's 100s of New school Joe "prototypes" all the time and a shit ton of MOTUC "prototypes" as well. Sort of over saturates the market.
And yeah, I'd love to see some of your actual prototypes. I know a few people on this board have some beauties as well.

Umm... I've just tried checking the photo links, but they just bring me back to this page.
Can anyone else see my photos?

I cannot see them. Are you using the copying and pasting the IMG link in doing so? The above does not look like it.

How do I do that? All I've been doing is to COPY the image URL, then PASTING the link into my message. If I have missed a step please let me know, and I'll try again!
