Does anyone have this guy? Automan was the only figure made for the line based on the 1983 TV series. He's 5 1/2" tall and kinda looks like they ripped off his design from Tron. He's made by Acamas toys and I believe wasn't available in North America. There is a drawing of 3 other figures on the cardback that weren't produced. Good thing though, all three look pretty lame - just guys in suits. Here is some more info on other Automan collectibles and such: www.80skid.com/Automan.htm

I don't have one but I see them quite often. MOC can make about $50 but loose ones can be had fairly cheaply.

Yup, they pop up from time to time. They are horribly crappy. Not even cool in a knock-off kind of way. MOC this guy is maybe worth $25-$30 and that's if you could find anyone that liked the show.

Ho-ly Crap-Oly!!
I LOVED this show as a kid. Only for the stupid special effects, which I thought were space-age amazing then. (so easily entertained)
I must have one of these (and an Autocar if I can find one).

Alot of long time dealers have sometime have a hard time adjusting to post Ebay prices (which are different both up and down). Five to ten years ago Automan figures used to sell for $350ish per in Toy Shop magazine. Some people just don't realize that things have changed. Some Ebay folks I think also sometime just like to show off some fancy stuff and don't really have any intention of the items actually selling. I really want the micronauts original paintings, but I think 250k is pretty whack! I made a fairly serious offer on them and the seller had no interest. A good example of the no interest to actually sell scenario

They were done by Ken Kelley who is a fairly famous artist in his own right. He did some KISS album covers. I scored some awesome vintage microman paintings in Japan a while ago. I will post some pics of those on these boards when I have a chance.
