I love the Top Warrior artwork, bios & trading cards. Monster Warriors are exactly the same and my favorite line. I hope to at least have a backer card from that line someday.

Do you know if they produced the other characters in artwork?

But who knows they made the other characters

Great additions to the thread Drekkus! I like how the Movable Figure package depicts the Two Face Monster & Dino. I'm not sure what would be cooler, if those other figures were released in this series or not. The red robot guy looks similar to a couple of the 5.5" Ritter figures that Alfi posted. I picked up a couple 1992 Hasbro Conan figures in a trade recently & I noticed something that surprised me. The 6" Mannix figures share some striking similarities to Hasbro's Conan line. So some of the 6" Mannix figure lines must have first appeared earlier in the 90's than I previously believed and they just kept reusing the body molds into the early 2000's. The early 90's 6" figures are assumedly the ones with the same accessories as the Two Face Monsters (e.g. The Dungeons). Here's some comparison shots to show you what I'm talking about. Conan vs 6" Mannix chest emblem: Conan vs Skeleton Fighter viking helmet. I like how Skulkur's helmet has a little creature on top that from a distance looks a little like a skull, but the mannix helmet actually is a skull emblem. Like they were copying it from a picture lol Conan vs 6" Mannix pig warrior - straddle pose comparison (and the arm & wrist bands are the same too!) I don't know much about the Conan line, but I had thought the toys & cartoon were not very popular. It's funny how they even copied the wide-legged pose that I find so annoying in the 6" figuress.

Never thought skeleton-in-viking helmet would get cooler as a concept; a melted skull on top of the helmet? Holy shit. Have a favor to ask. Any front shots of the Mannix pig? From the side shot I get a Bebop vibe (mainly the Mohawk).

He does look inspired by Bebop with the mohawk & nosering. It's supposed to be a metal helmet though. Crazy horn design too eh?

I never had a desire to collect all of the figures in the various Mannix lines. I picked up a few from each, partially as representative samples, but mostly as material for custom conversions. Since there is so much interest in these particular figures, I pulled out my collection and started photographing some of the ones I though you guys would enjoy seeing. I even did a few scenic shots. DARK WARRIORS – I don’t think that there’s anything special with these two. I bought them new at retail for 99¢ each back in July 2000. I have a third figure that I started reworking, but I never finished the conversion. Back of the cards are blank with a UPC sticker added. MONSTER MAN – The Lizard Warrior was one of several monsters created by Mannix by sticking new creature heads on old wrestler bodies. The clothing color scheme is rather weird, but the head sculpt is great. For this particular issue, the figures were sold loose – no blister cards, not even bags – in a display box! The box carried the series name “Monster Man” as opposed to the carded versions that were called “Monster Warriors”. The distributor was listed as Earn Time Industries, and retail price back in 1994 was $1.25. Because of the loose nature of the figures, it’s likely that some of the weapons - tightly held, but not permanently attached – got switched between figures. At the same time, I found “OverTop Man” figures sold the same way. MEDIEVAL WARRIORS – Here’s what the cards looked like on sale in 2001. Retail price was still 99¢. No manufacturer or distributor is listed and the back of the cards are blank. MEDIEVAL – I found bagged versions of the “Medieval Warriors” two years later. This time, Regent Products Corp. is listed as the distributor and their “Good Old Values” kept the price at 99¢. KNIGHT PLAYSET – This weird set came from a Toys R Us in Florida back in 2004. Original sticker price was $3.99, but I got the pair on clearance for 99¢! Toy Quest has credit on both the front and back of the card, but there’s definitely a Mannix connection as the arms on these two figures are identical to those on the “Medieval Warriors” Bronze Knight! Actually, except for their heads and colors, these silver and red knights are identical. Your bronze knight shares the same torso and legs as the larger bootleg stormtroopers to.

More than about time for a new post. I've updated the main post with the new series you unveiled starrunn, thanks again. I can only imagine what else you might have in your collection I picked these up awhile ago from Japan. Anyone read Japanese?? They are identical to OverTop Man and Top Warrior figures. They came with the same accessories, but no trading cards. These were made for the Japanese market. Boxes still say MCT 1993, but also have the company name "For You" and 1994 on the back. I've seen four different figures, but only 3 box colors. More to come eventually!

Just fyi: The only real Mannix toy line in this thread is the IWC wrestlers. All the rest of the lines here are referred to as "Mannix" for convenience because they are related in that they share some head, body, or accessory molds in common.
To answer your question, I would say no. Because it doesn't share any molds in common with the other figures here. It is a very cool looking bootleg though. I like the armor and helmet particularly. What size is it?

No worries, you can start your own ID thread for them. I'd be interested to see what your other one looks like. I picked up this Skeleton Fighter variant recently (big thanks to SinneD!). It shows two variant skeleton fighter bodies on the back I have never seen before. Since the horned skeleton that came in the package is different than the horned variant on the back, who knows if they were actually produced or not. I'm not anxious to jump into another "Mannix" body type, but I have to say the skull emblem on the viking is pretty cool.

Seen them back in the day here in Germany and had some of them as well, but did never really totally like them. Didn't hate them either. I know that I used one of the heads for my Jason Vorhees statue as chopped head. XD Here they were in the Over Top Men Package, but the Top Warrior Package is the best in my opinion. I'm curious how many different packages for these fellas were there.

play2001: Great Mannix figures, look forward to seeing what else you turn up! formlessone: The Overtop Man/Top Warrios figures do seem to pop up a lot. Being the first series made and knocking off big franchises like the WWF and Street Fighter, they might've had higher production numbers than some of the other lines. Then again they're just not as popular either, so they may just not sell as fast when they do show up. I gotta say, I dig them though. They're goofy but well made and loads of fun. And Kudos to Ebessan for noticing the TMNT Bebop - Mannix Pig connection! I just came across this pic of the 1994 "Warriors of the Forgotten Sewer" Warrior Bebop figure. Pretty blatant mannix ko (almost bootleg) there! www.tmnttoys.com/The various Mannix lines have borrowed from so many companies/franchises it's kind of amazing. Hasbro WWF & Conan, Street Fighter, Playmates TMNT, Kenner Batman, Toy Biz Hercules/Xena, Bandai Power Rangers.... It makes me wonder if all these companies used the same manufacturer or what.

I picked this wacky thing up awhile back. Not an action figure, but I thought it was awesome that they used an image of an action figure on the bop bag rather than just some typical bootleg art. I included the actual action figure for comparison. I love how they kept every detail right down to the bizarre Mannix nipples. I've seen a couple of these around, but only Razor Ramone. Not sure if they made any others. It bears the name of Forever Toys in Oyster Bay, NY with a copyright year of 2000. No mention of Mannix, but it does have the IWC logo.

I'm also going to "officially" put Les Demons on the list of Mannix figures (thanks again Drekkus, and come back to the board man!) Although we're drifting farther away from the core wrestler bodies, I do now feel these are not-too-distant relatives. I've found that they come with a bootleg axe type weapon that is used in other Mannix 6" figure lines. That, their 6" scale, and the Harmony importer name found with other Mannix figure lines is enough to convince me they belong. There are reported to only be 3, which matches the back of the card. They come with axe, belt, bracelet, wings & tail. They look like Devilman bootlegs to me. Devilman figures were made from 1998-2000 so these probably came out around the same time.

And check out this cool "Neon Look Skeleton Fighter"! I love the card art on these! This is the first time I've seen these on a card other than the Spanish Esqueleton Fighter Neon. I like how the one I compared to Hasbro's Skulkur is actually called Skulkur on the card back!

The Mannix 6" connection to Hasbro's Conan line is further reinforced by that top middle figure. Not just the body mold is a knock-off, as I pointed out in a previous post, but even his head is a clear knock-off of Hasbro's Conan the Warrior. The sword with the figure on the top right and the shield on the top left are straight bootlegs of the Hasbro Conan Wrath-Amon accessories too (Some of the other weapons are bootlegs of Power Ranger aliens & the shield is from Kenner's Batman line lol) Nice score, cool card especially. Regarding that cardback, the color scheme on the top row of figures kinda' riffs off Toybiz's Hercules TLJ and the line, "Half Man, Half God, All Hero!", is straight offa the Hercules cardback.

Yup, they bootlegged some accessories from the Toy Biz Hercules figures in other Mannix 6" lines too. One of the knights uses the Ares head too. There's so many things like this, I want to devote a whole thread to all the different lines they "borrowed" from.
