It's just a misc lot I found buried amongst the 1,000s of "he-man" stuff on ebay. I neglected to bookmark the page and it'd be a pain to find it again. The seller started it at about $70 USD.... too much for me, though there are some jewels in there!
I think those 2 figures are Lord of Insects though, Drek. Anyone know where there's more info on this line? I've scoured this site with no luck.

I scored the Lord of Insects figure. Been actually watching it from when it was first listed, for awhile there thought I might be the only bidder. The last one that came up, I think Otaking got it, couldn't let that happen again!

Okay, anybody know who or what this guy is. Obviously a knock-off/bootleg of the MOTU variety. COuld be a duck, dolphin, salamander, or some kinda dinosaur for all I know. I'm betting dinosaur, 'cause I did see a similar looking warrior toy with a crest on his head, and he looked very dinosaurish. This guy has a hard, solid body with moving arms and shoulders. Any info or companion figure pics appreciated!

I just got him...maybe in a few years if I get tired of him...I'd try selling him. I've been on a kick for these guys lately and have been buying 'em up again. I'll have to show off some other stuff some other time.

Here's a mix of some MOTU knock-offs I've won/found. First, some sport themed guys. One is a boxer who is solid below the waist. Others are a luchador and some cheesy curly haired wrassler...looks like Curly from the Stooges!

...aaand here's some guys either from Combo Heroes/Warriors or based off of them. I've seen alternate color versions of the elf guy with the effeminate hair tuft before. I used to have a full complete version of the half skull-face guy before, but sold him like an idiot. I believe they came with cheap plastic vests instead of the usual battle armor or harness. The last guy in the horned helmet...Muscle Warriors?

That boxer's great. I have one that looks like Charles Bronson. Anyone know how many boxers were made?

Guess I just remember the horned helmet guy from the Muscle Warriors package. It's hard to get these kinda guys straight!

Here is another fella: Looks like another "version" of the Combo Warriors guy with the same head. I used to have a MIMP one with the names but have forgotten it!

Here he is in a comparison shot with his "cousin". As you can see, he's a little bigger in proportion with a different body style which (off the top of my head) I don't remember seeing the likes of which before. I personally like the all black one better.

The only odd feature of this guy are his weird, stubby little feet. You can't ell from the front, but they have this cartoonishly peg shoe look to them. Other than that, he has arm bands very similar to MotU, but not the same. So, does this guy have a home? Is he actually part of a toyline with a name or is he some random bootleg? I'm guessing bootleg, 'cause I don't see any markings. ANybody else have/see anything like him before?

I must say, he does make a great secondary bad guy for your MotU and knock-off universe. Looks better than his Combo Warrior counterpart, and looks like one helluva evil warlord! I think I'll either custom paint some Skeletor armor black for him or fashion a cape for him.

both are combo warriors, I don't think the smaller one is a bootleg
You can't imagine how many runs of these where made
you can find em with all kinda different arms, legs etc....
Some legs are banded, but most are removable.
the size only tells me that there was a production run with slightly smaller figures.
The one you should really ask this is TKOM he knows everything about this stuff

Zackula, I think you won that green guy(The Evil) from me w/ a buncha other GFs----boy, did you get a deal You also outbid me on that awesome boxer fellow and the horn-helmet(Gallant) He's the only one I need from the "Combo" line..... Combo are definitely the whores of the motukos. There's soooo many variations. There's also a Planet of the Apes type one and a lion-headed one that belong to this group suppossedly. Here's one I got on a Wrestling Champions card w/ a sidious looking championship belt. On the back it has the versions of the Combos with pants, that you see around once-in-a-while.

Well I'll be...! Honestly, I stumbled across that wrestler lot by accident. I mainly wanted the fantasy-type warriors. I was thinking about selling off the wrestlers someday when I end up with a bunch of 'em. Eh, I've never bought, sold, or traded outside of eBay...at least over the internet...if you really want 'em I'll look into it.

nah, I'm over it know. You should hold on to 'em. At one point I didn't like the wrestler-type kos either. Then one day I started doing a bit of paint touch ups and gave them some weapons and shields and now I have what I refer to as my "Eternian Peasant Militia".
If I were you, I'd paint his belt a different color, finish putting spots on his loin cloth and paint spots on his boots and gloves for a leapord shin look. Maybe make his eye brows meaner looking. Thus giving him a more savage appearance. Call him something corny like "Haymaker".
Sorry--- I've been in custom-mode lately.

Someone call Mumford...and his sons! I need some info on this little lion man! I've seen these before. Recently saw two on eBay within a short time. I bid on one but lost (too much money!), yet would still like to find out anything about these types of guys. Basically, uses the Sewco/Sungold body type. I'm not sure if the legs were supposed to be articulated or if he was solid from the waist down, like Muscle Warriors. Has rooted hair (mane, actually). May or may not have removable armor and/or crown. I used a drawing since I figured the link to the old auction would expire or whatever, and for all I know it may take years to find someone with concrete info on these guys. They do come in multiple color schemes, since, as I said, I have seen them before just was never really interested until now. HALP!!!

Here is a pic of some of the Knock offs I have. They twist at the waist but have no leg articulation. Some of them are Galaxy Heroes and Muscle Warriors (basicly the same figures) and some are wrestling knock-offs of a better knock-off wrestling figure called Wrestling Champions. The 2nd figure from the left on top row is from the "Turly Fighters" Line, I have him myself with full armour and sword, hes not red however, he has skin colour like he man

A version that resembles the red one is in their but that one has a purple chest.

Hi, kinda new to this whole thing, and would really appreciate any advice.. my son(2) just received some old action figures, one i've never seen before now looks to be a good candidate for "Gallant" he is in the same style as the boxed E(Eagle)Man, pictured.. same arm cuffs and boots (in red) same belt (in silver), his helmet is silver with black horns and his underwear/tights are green! he's not boxed, but is in fairly good condition... So my question: is this worth keeping for later on or can i let him have it now ??

Admittedly, if he's only two...eh, I'm no parent, but I'd wait a few years...besides, these things are old...you wouldn't want him putting that thing in his mouth. Who knows what went into these things when they were made. Those things came in so many colors anyway...not worth "big bucks". I have one in that color scheme myself.

That's true, you never know if there was lead in the paind back then. Especially with cheaper made figure, I actually wonder if the majority of knock offs from the 80's used lead of not?
