Anyone ever come across these 3 3/4" (10cm) Ultraman action figures released by Popy in the late 80's? www.ultramantoys.com/1980/popyset2.jpgI'm an Ultraman fan, but I also have an affinity for 3 3/4" figures so these are of great interest to me. I was put onto them by a pic on super toy archive (bottom of the page) www.toyarchive.com/UnknownToys/UnknownToys.htmlI'd love to find some more info on these. Anyone have any? Where were they released? With my Gatchaman 3 3/4" collection nearing completion I might need a new hard to find line

I don't have these in particular, but I have a ~ 4" Eleking, another who has a face that reminds me of a grasshopper, and another reminds me of Masked Rider. These are dated 1999. Some 7 Eleven promo. These three are only articulated at the arms.

They sound interesting as well, especially Eleking, any chance you could post a pic?

Thanks Sanfords, they look pretty cool. Are they hollow vinyl or hard plastic?
(btw, the 1st and 3rd from the left are form Masked Rider, the other alien guy is Baltan from Ultraman)

They are all solid, except for the tallest one.

I've managed to piece together some info on the Popy figures. The line seems to have been released under the title World Hero, I think a bunch of Star Wars figures may have been released under the same title in Japan (?). There were16 figures released along with an Ultraman 80 carry case. There were 5 Ultra’s in the series and I think some of the others were from Kamen Rider. These are the ones I think are right so far: Ultraman Ultraseven Ultraman Taro Ultraman 80 Ultraman Jonias (from The Ultraman Anime Series) Kamen Rider Super-1 Gamereojin (from Kamen Rider) I've also managed to pick up Ultraman 80 I'm mainly interested in the Ultraman figures from this line, but I'd really like to know who the other nine are. The presence of Gamereojin, an enemy from Kamen Rider, makes me wonder if any Ultraman kaiju were produced. If anyone has any more information, or an unidentifed figure of similar construction, please let me know
