Does anyone know of a good site that shows all the Small Soldiers figures? I have been picking them up loose here and their and want to maybe try and look for some of their weapons. Really do like the Gorgonite bad guys, they are done fairly well and are just cool looking monsters.

I'm shocked Here's a link with some Small Soldier stuff, I don't know much about them tho. Cool designs but I never picked 'em up cos they were so big. www.figurerealm.com/checklist.php?action=checklist&seriesid=208

I actually really like this toyline, and it has a small but strong fanbase of collectors out there. There's a few rarer figures but they can usually be had for cheap if you just keep an eye out. The toys are surprisingly well made and are extremely durable. I actually think they may be the one of the toughest toy lines of the past 20 years. I also pick them up here and there, but I tend to sell them all off in a lot whenever I run out of space. One of these days I plan on trying to complete a collection.
As far as the figures go, there's not much to explore. Most of the main cast was released in the states, while 3 additional figures were sold specifically to Canada and the UK I believe. (Kip Killigan, Battle Charger Archer, and Battle Charger Freakenstein).
Now I've also come across a line of PVC figures that tend to pop up now and again. I found a Kip Killigan, which leads me to believe they may have released Link Static and Butch Meathook as PVC figures. That would have been cool if they did.
The Gorgonite "Flatchoo" is the red ogre figure, and was actually not in the movie as a Gorgonite but was the concept art shown in the beginning, for a different "educational" toy line they had planned. I think the only figure to not receive a toy was Ocula, which the Burger King figure actually works quite nicely for. There was also a Gorgonite Bat character from the video game (I think his name was Needle) that never received a toy.

Lol, never knew they were the good guys, never saw the movie but may have to get it for the kids (of course I'll watch it to!). Thanks for the info on the line Victoryleo, never really knew to much about it. I have only been running into the same 4 figures (Archer, Chip, Slamfist Insaniac) or so, but to be honest, I probably came across some of the other Gorgonites, but passed right by them not knowing what line they were from.

(Kip Killigan, Battle Charger Archer, and Battle Charger Freakenstein). Those figures had a very limited US release. I stocked them in the 3for$10 dump bins at KayBee toys. I grabbed a Kip (as well as the other Soldiers as we received multiple assortments) and later showed it to another collector that shopped in my store. That jerk tried to get me fired when I wouldn't give him my prize(going so far as to call the district manager and accuse me of STEALING the toy he wanted).

Im really surprised to hear their release was so limited in the U.S. American film with fairly popular actors and decent promotion, plus those Commando Elite guys were totally playing on U.S. military cliches (there's even a Platoon movie reference if I recall correctly). Y'know I thought I'd love to work in a toy store, but if someones gonna' call up the manager when I score a piece they want... well that's just scary.

Having started to buy these again late this year, I did some investigating (and one of my 'indexes') and can actually be useful here:
Series 1 - Archer, Freakenstein, Insaniac, Flatchoo, Chip Hazard, Brick Bazooka, Slamfish, Buzz Saw Tank & Drill Cycle Series 1.5 - Battle Damage Archer & Chip Hazard Series 2 - Ultra Armor Archer, Witchdoctor Insaniac, Nick Nitro Series 3 - Battle Changing Archer, Freakenstein & Kip, Electro Charged Chip Hazard, Punchit & Ground Assault Vehicle.
Series 1 Insanaic & Flatchoo come with mini-figures, I think Flatchoo's is called Nibbles, and the Power Drill Cycle came with Scratch-It (Orbus was built into the Buzz Saw Tank). Series 3s' regular figures are expensive as hell, they received a limited US release (as said above) whihc I'm guessing drives the prices up - the most pricey is Battle Changing Freakenstein - the last eBay auction i saw ended at $500! The cheapest seems to be Electro Charged Chip Hazard; Punchit and the Ground Assault don't seem to have this issue, going for about normal for an oversized figure and vehicle.

(Orbus was built into the Buzz Saw Tank). Burger King made Small Soldiers toys and released an Ocula (guy in the tank) that fits in well with the Hasbro figures. It's got suction cups on its feet. You can probably find it on eBay for cheap.

yeah, it's a good little version of him (and I can't believe I continue to get his name wrong, it's because of Oculus Orbus, the Madball)

Of all the toy lines of the last 16 years (excluding re-released star wars stuff!) This seems to be the one with real steam behind it. I've noticed prices of it all creeping up over the last few years. I've sold some recently, I think some kids are watching the film now and wanting the toys, then mums and dads are buying them from eBay so they are actually getting played with today and not stuck on a shelf Of course not all are!

Wow, this is definitely unexpected. I had always suspected that there might be unreleased Small Soldiers prototype figures, but I never so much as heard a rumor. This guy is wicked cool. I wish they released this version. Looks like he transforms into some kind of tank. Very cool. I wonder what else is out there. I know the third series of figures had three in it: Battle Charger Archer, Battle Charger Freakenstein, and Battle Charger Kip Killigan. This kind of gives me hope that they may have designed prototypes of Link Static, Butch Meathook, or maybe another variation of a Gorgonite.

In the UK we actually had some REALLY cool toys that were given away FREE with KFC meals.
I'm having a bit of a problem posting pics at the moment, I seem to have picked up a virus that TOTALLY Fricks up your ability to post stuff. Why do people DO this? Are they getting paid? WHY?

Sign up for a photobucket account. It's free and it works best I think.
Are the KFC figures different than the Burger King ones then? I'd be interested to see what they look like!

Found a pic on eBay, item was already sold (not mine, it was an English seller) The vehicles from the end of the movie, pretty cool. If I was into toy cars I'd love these. Also I ended up opening my KOs I posted about some months ago Love Flatchoo, also really like the blue armor on Archer. The huge black eyes are still off-putting Size comparison Tiny Slamfist I found at KB Toys over a decade ago. It's a squeeze toy

I think my favorite thing about the Small Soldiers line is the sculpted/molded articulation on the figures that isn't actually articulated. You'll see knee joints and the like that are just there for show. Pretty neat and I'm not sure that any other toy line did something like that.
