In your opinion what movie, tv show, or other media franchise is begging for toys but none have been made available?

Spaceballs - no toys for well known reasons Blade Runner - crummy ertl die-cast cars don't count. The larger spinners are nice but I would't really consider those to be toys.

I can't believe 'Back to the Future' didn't get a tie-in toy line back in the day(Particularly II & III given the huge success of the first film). I know various toy versions of the DeLorean have been made, but what about an action figure line?

There's been Back to the Future Minimates, that about it I think..(and of course the Hoverboard by Mattel, and Marty's hat)

Yeah, I saw those Minimates. Kinda neat, but I passed. They also made replicas of Marty's Nikes from BTTF II a while back if I recall.
* Edit. Yep, just checked eBay. Limited edition. Listed on one auction for a whopping $7,500.

My brother is a fan of TREMORS. But no TREMORS toys ever were released.

Tremors scared the **** out of me when I was a kid lol. I hardly could go on grass thinking a worm would eat me. I would probably not have appreciated any toys back then just me though hehe. I would have loved space balls toys. The same dark helmet plays with in the movie think I saw them in the worlds largest star wars collection.

My biggest childhood fear caused by a movie was of Lucio Fulci's 1979 ZOMBIE movie. I was so afraid one comes out from my bedroom window I could barely sleep! Toys I would have loved to see from a TV show are Pat and mat from A JE TO! tv show from Tczechoslovakia (is this how we spell it in english?). But I think I said it before, so it's not new for you to read this.

I would love to see toys for the old playstation game Jet Moto. Hoverbikes with action figures? Why not? I feel like there was lot of potential there for playset and diecast bikes, but thats just a old fan saying so. I don't know if it would of been so hot on the open market.

Pre-Dreamcast Sega you ever seen a set of Streets of Rage action figures? or Shinobi? or Eternal Champions? or Golden Axe? Hell it's taken us till last year to get the all the basic Sonic video game cast (Charmy Bee took forever, and it's only a set with figures I've already bought, grrr) and we still don't/won't have 'retired' characters like Mighty and Fang. if it took this long to get Super Sonic the chances of Alex Kidd are infinitesimal.

Would have loved an Alex Kidd action figure as a kid - and I know I'm not alone. This custom shows a cool concept of what could have been; happnes.deviantart.com/art/Alex-Kidd-in-Miracle-World-Fig-195144806And if you're a Sega nerd check out the Opa-Opa figure; www.zaponline.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=46&t=1531Aah, Golden Axe it feels so... wrong that they never made a figure line based on that crew. I think there's a Tyris Flare statue out there but it's just not the same.

I second Logan's Run. That would be a great license for Bif Bang Pow to pick up!
I also think Fifth Element and Galaxy Quest figures would be great...
plus lots of misc old shows I think would be cool, but I probably wouldn't buy

I'm a female, and these lines are in NO WAY restricted to the ladyfolk, but gol darn it I want my Dark Crystal, Labyrinth, Legend, Princess Bride, and maybe even Last Unicorn (especially the treeeee) action figures!! One figure from each line is NOT enough Neca and Sota, thank you very much. }

That Opa-Opa is lovely! even has a clear plastic windshield Tyris got a Gatchapon figure in Sega Gals too but again, not the same PS - I thoroughly second Labyrinth and Dark Crystal.

Blade Runner or Escape from New York in classic Kenner style would rule. Princess Bride too.

Back to the Future is the big one. I'd actually live to see some good Dark Crystal toys or Never Ending Story toys. That would be amazing!

Big trouble in little china, madmax and highlander would have been neat if they came out with figures when the movies were released. maybe in the same manner as hasbro's gi joe
