Well after all these years of hunting and being outbid on Ebay, I finally picked up the blue Snaggletooth that original came with the Cantina Adventure set. I got him for a good price $35 shipped including his weapon. Not sure if the blaster is a repo or not, but I'm still pretty stoked over finally having the figure! . One more down on my vintage Star Wars want list.

35 dollars wow that is a good deal. I always get out bid on him too. I used to have a great website that showed the difference between repo weapons and the originals (after searching I feel I never bookmarked it, I'll have to keep looking). Again that is a great score

Damn $35 is good. I scored mine in a big lot of Star Wars figs on an ebay auction for $97 a while back. The lot also had Kenner Droids cartoon figures of R2-D2 w/light saber and C3-PO. I was pleased.

the drop test works for determining wether a gun is repro or not, drop a weapon that you know to be real and listen to how it sounds. Then drop a repro and you will hear a "ping" sound. The real one should sound much more hollow.

I managed to get my Blue Snaggletooth from a dealer who was willing to part with it for a MOC Tri-Logo A-wing pilot. I bought that one before prices of SW started to skyrocket, it cost me about 15 back then and I believe the dealer wanted about 175 for the Blue Snag....but it IS in perfect condition, next to no wear on the sliver boots!
