Just wondering (including Droids & Ewok lines) which loose figure is the rarest. Not including bootlegs or minor variants.

When you say minor variants, do you consider vinyl caped jawas and Vader/Luke/Obi-Wan with the double extending lightsaber? I would think those would be the most rare.
Not counting any variants, I'd say probably blue Snaggletooth or stormtrooper Luke.

I would say a vinyl caped Jawa and the telescoping sabre figures would count. Een the rocket firing Fett would count. Stuff with minor color or paint variants wouldn't really apply. How about Vlix from the Droids series, wasn't this made in Brazil only (or something like that).

I passed up on a Blue Snaggletooth at a toy show years ago for $50 . What are you gonna do though, I had no money back then.

Wow, that's a great deal! Too bad, you missed it. I hope you found a great deal one. I bought a NM Blue Snaggletooth from my friend Mark from TAFC for $125, not bad. He told me that value around $400 in ebay if with original weapon, NM or Mint!

I noticed that a few of those figures were prototypes. I do not think that those should be included in rarest star wars toys as they are unproduced. One figure that should be included on that list is Vlix, who was a part of the droids line and only released in brazil. I think that he is worth something like 3-4 grand complete and loose. Only a handfull of carded versions have been discovered.

Definitely Vlix is the rarest production character figure. I wouldn't bother considering variants, but if one were to then the DT Vader and DT Ben would be contenders as they are extremely rare.
The Rancor figure isn't rare, just a cool, well made, vintage, bad ass. Certified and authenticated.

Yeah, I always thought Vlix was the holy grail of Star Wars figures. Very few carded examples exist, and loose ones go for $2000.

Anakin Skywalker vintage WITH the coin MOC fetches $3360 from the Power of the Force line according to the Star wars 2005 Action Figure price guide. Vlix is super rare as well.

Vlix is one of the rarer figures expecially moc as there are only a handfull moc examples known. A Double Telescoping Obi-wan moc is maybe the rarest carded star wars figure out there. Boba fett prototypes probably realise the highest prices going into the £10000 - £20000 area.
