Voice Squad & Space Attack by Toy Island

I recently came upon a figure from VoiceSquad (circa 1991 I think), but have never seen one of these before. I attached a photo. If anyone has any info on this toy line, I would greatly appreciate it.

I had several of these when I was a kid including some from the other lines/series (Space Force and Voice Patrol). If I remeber correctly all 3 were released together and some more over the next few years under different names including larger figures (about 7 or 8 inches I think) that had LED display faces. I still have 1 from Voice Patrol- the guy with the respirator and helmet. Voice Patrol had 3 figures (cops), Voice Squad had 6 and Space Force had 4 I think (not 100% about Space Force).

I have a full set of around 12 figures but i think mine are called sound squad

I had a few of these in the 90s to. Cant remember which series they were but they were both robots. One red and one black. I remember the voices were pretty funny.

I have had this particular Action Figure since I was a kid.
I've always been curious about it, but there is no information on the actual figure itself to lend to what it is.

Could anyone help me out here? Give me any information on what this Figure is, from, or who?

This is the guy that I still have,I think he is called Tactical Commander. He says "drop the gun" and also makes a crappy gun shot noise and what I think is supposed to be a shoot out when you press each of his 3 buttons:

It should probably be noted that there are 2 different scales of these. The one I posted is 8 inch, I believe Drekkus's are 3 3/4. Kurgan's look that way too.

My guy is 8 inch also. I never new they did a 3 3/4 line aswell.
