These arent micro machiens either, but they are a little bigger. They are awesome toys that have survived since childhood. The submarine is my favorite. Destroyer ship or something made by Imperial toys. I think its a color changer, but Im not sure. It is also from my childhood. I've always been a big car junkie so Micro Machines were big part of my childhood. I still have a bunch of my original cars and picked up a car wash playset last year for a buck.

My most recent Micro Machines acquisition: Volkswagen Beetle Snap-Back. I probably paid too much for this little guy on Ebay but I don't care, that paint job is dope! I have an actual 1972 Volkswagen Beetle that I restored and I am seriously considering repainting it to match this Micro. I just painted up this little "road" tonight since I was so psyched to post on defzombie's new thread. Now I'm just waiting to see more pics of micros. SinneD, let see em ;D.

Hellz yeah, thats what I'm talking about! I've never seen that NASA stuff before, pretty impressive. I really dig those fluorescent nobbies on those monster trucks too. Now its a bit hard to see but do those Planet Micro sets come with little mini dioramas? If, so that is flat out awesome. I find it a little hard to display loose micros and those would be sweet, you could even paint them up if you wanted to.

I used to love those Monster Trucks. As a kid I figured out that they were only held together with a little pin underneath so I used to pry the pin out and switch bodies with regular Micro Machines. Oh man, I wish I had kept most of mine from my childhood.
Does anyone have any of the MM train sets? Those were other big favorites of mine.

Has anyone every tried to change the batteries on the Micro Lights? If so, is there any danger of breaking them and what size are the batteries? I never had the trains. Please tell me they don't run on a track because if they do I'm going to have to try and get some.

Please tell me they don't run on a track because if they do I'm going to have to try and get some. Dont know on the batteries, Trains did come with tracks, but they were not battery powered or anythign Ah, Okay, If they aren't self propelled I can live without them, thanks. I did see some remote control Micro Machines on Ebay a few months ago that looked pretty cool but I decided no the pull the trigger on them. Looked like they probably only went forward and turned in reverse and the cord most likely impeded their movement since they are so small but pretty cool nonetheless. They went pretty cheap though. Looks like I may have to boldly go where no man has gone before with the micro lights, just hope I don't bust anything

I do have a few of the Remote ones, They work like shit, but are still kewl, They aren't generally all that cheap, especially if you get some of the European ones, Ill try and get some pics of the ones I have tonight or tomorrow for you Sweet, looking forward to the pics. I remember one of the ones I saw was a cool conversion van type thing with some sweet porthole windows in the back. That was the one I was really on the fence about.

Defzombie that gator tank semi-truck thing is rad! SinneD, its killing me wondering what is in that monster pile of Micros. I've not seen those remote control tanks before, only the dump truck. If only they had an action like the tank fired a shell or the dump truck dumped. I feel like if I ever see that conversion van again I'll go for it, I'm sort of kicking myself for passing on it the last time, I think it ended at $7 plus shipping, less than I paid for that Beetle snap back. I was thinking too today one of the things I really like about the Micro Machines nowadays is I can play with them at my computer pretty inconspicuously ;D.

While the stands not rounded, I'm not sure if those are MM figures, and there's one Matchbox tank, but the others are MM Military stuff:
