I always wanted a Star Wars AT-AT as a kid and never did get one (until I bought my own a few years ago). I remember drooling over it every year in the Sears Christmas catalog, but I guess it was to expensive for my parents to buy. I did however get allot of other vintage Star wars toys instead!

I remember praying that I would get Fortress Maximus. I ended up getting a tv for my room, which was definately the better gift. But still, I was disapointed.

I remember drooling over Oberon in a Micronauts brochure insert. I had to settle for Metal Man figures instead. I think they came in a 3-pack.

I never really pined too badly for a toy as a kid. At least not one that I never got. I remember really wanting a Snake Mountain, but I got one for my birthday just a couple months after I got a Grayskull for X-Mas. Still had my share of "No-I-wont-buy-you-that" while in the store woes though. Unusually forgot about it by the time we'd get home though.

I always wanted the yellow car from Jurassic Park (The one that is attacked by the T-Rex) since i had everything else from that line. That way I could of re-enacted that scene from the movie many times.

The death star playset was probably my main 'want' from what was in the shops. I also longed after the streatch monster for years, but eventually got one second hand (yes, it leaked ) I also remember a bunch of stuff from cardbacks and catologues I never saw in the shops. Star Wars dewback, Micronauts galactic defender, pharoid with time chamber and the rocket tubes set, Transformers shockwave and swoop. Then their was the stuff I just wanted, but it either wasn't produced (Dr Who 3 3/4", not untill the late 80's) or I just wasn't aware of it's existance (Star Fleet Dai-X, BOTP figures).

I was a spoiled brat only child and remember my dad try to play coy and saying "What do you think of the GiJoe base? " and " What about the big battle ship things way up on the shelf ? ". Then I said the ship is too big, where I put it ? I still think the same today. Too damn big. OOHHHHHHH wait, I remember wanting a Zartan and my mother bringing me home a Trailbreaker(blazer) he sucked at the right or wrong name. Good lord, Im surprised I havent killed again.

For my part it was a simple Tusken raider figure.
For some reason, I never saw it in store, the only time I remember I saw it was in the hand of another kid. But now I have him, one of the fun of collecting!

I don't have too many regrets but one I wished I had was the Transformers Predaking cause the other combiners were lousy to play with and Predaking looked like he was sturdy enough to have some play action.

Not to be redundant, but it was definitely the U.S.S. Flag. My parents said there wasn't enough room. The house was 3,000 square feet, plenty of room. I think they were trying to teach me some kind of life lesson. Nah they were just short on cash at the time. I wouldn't buy one now unless it was super cheap, so I could resell it.
