Hi,
got the idea that it would be nice to know what figures were brought out by Sungold.
Best known are the GALAXY WARRIORS
so far I come to this lines:
1 Galaxy warriors
2 Turly gang Freedom fighters
3 Dino fighters
4 A Wrestling line
Correct me if I'm wrong make Additions maybe it's nice to also post pictures of the lesser known lines. I added one in another thread started by me, Recent fleamarket score.

They did a line called "Monster" or "monsters" I don't know, the pics are on my dead hard drive.  KOM probably knows. |

dont confuse the monsters line with gw style figures. they were knockoffs of horror movie chracters like freddy. sungold produced far more lines than listed though its hard to list them all. also they company is believed to be sunco which is still producing power ranger style ninja lines amongst others.

I've seen 2 different Freddy Kruger sculpts. I'd like to get them both carded for my Freddy collection. Do you know when they're from? They look early to mid 90's.

Well, this Freedom Fighter it's not mine, I wish I had it myself, as you see I took the pic from ebay some time ago, I keep it for reference and wanted to share it with you guys. Anyway, I bought a lot of three loose figures: Baltard, Deevil and Batoon, how can I know if I have a GW Baltard or a FF Baltard?? There's any difference? Were Deevil and Batoon released in this line as well? The black Ygg and the other green guy you have TKOM are way cool!
PD: I have a picture of a carded Lazer figure, I'll post it later.

the difference is the marking is on the back rather than the leg. but this was also avalible for gws so its hard to say. latter figures from anyline sport the marking on the back only early figs have it on their leg.

Here are some more Sungold figures:  #1-5 are Dino Warriors #6 I think it's a Sungold DW with long arms and regular GW boots like the first five DW. #7 Gotta be a DW with long arm and regular boots (v-cut). #8 Is Magnon with long arms. I don't know if this is a later version of the GW figures or if this is from another line all together. #9-10 looks like Sungold DW with long arms BUT with new more detailed boots!! #11-12 I know that #12 is a Sungold figure because I own that one and he has Sungold on his back. #11 looks like he could belong to the same line, they both got the pointy ears and angry eyebrows. But I have no idea what line they're from. Maybe we can figure this out together? |

Maybe it's an idea to only concentrate in this thread on Motu knock offs, GW style and start a new one for the the monsters they are a totally different thing. Maybe someone has some Sungold wrestlers laying around were he or she could post pictures of. I have seen them in the Wrestling section.

theres at least 1 neon verion of everyone. i think the neon figs probably go with the turly fighters. seeing is how this line jump started in 89 and was to compete with tmnt. which all sport brighter figs than motu. but for now its not confirmed and could be a line on to itself. freedom fighters probably shared a peg next to turlys. or followed up the line.

There are also CH releases with stickers on the shields. And there are two and/or perhaps three different types of releases like one has a better quality sculpt, different pelvis, writsbands. Some has a different colour on the belt than the trunks and some has one colour.

I've saved some names and pics from ebay acuctions and other places.  The picture shows the names I know so far. There are some other names but I don't know which goes with those figures. Here's a list: ·Satana ·Robo ·The Evil ·E. Man ·Gallant ·Leopard ·Hulka ·Mr. X ·Combo ·Unicorna I also found the name Strong Hawk for E.Man in a website, I don't know if that's correct. There's also another release with Galaxy Fighters/Warriors arms, some figures are not showed in the picture above:    Unicorna:  In the cardback are the figures with their names, if someone has one carded please post the full name list! |

Nop, not mine. I didn't bid on that auction. I saved the pics for reference, I have some Combo Heros, Satana included, I working on a trade to get Satana from the Combo line. I have a guy who looks like a wrestler but he has a Combo Heroes body. I 'd like to see some other pics or info about Combo Heroes, the only pic I've seen is that one with those three carded figures, and everybody got that same pic.
