Ok, Poll time, what size figures do you prefer?
Not exactly a concise list but it's the best I could come up with off the top of my head (don't let my examples put you off).
Personally I don't differentiate to much, if I like it I will buy it, but I've always been drawn to 3 3/4" figures as a preference.
How about you?

I would go with either 6" or 8", they just have more of a presence when set up on display. Not to big, not to small.

I guess I'm just a 3 3/4" guy at heart, probably since Star Wars & GI Joe were my primary figures as a kid... Plus it allows for all those great vehicles to be made for them.

I actually like the size Visionaries and some Dungeons and dragons figures just a little bit bigger than a 3 3/4 but big enough done right you can get amazing detail and articulation, and still small enough to have good vehicles ,

Masters of the Universe size is pretty cool in my book. I voted for it, but I too love 3 3/4 like Crystar and vintage Star Wars.
For the newer figuire I don't collect much, but these chunky McFarlane / Neca 18in movie figure sure sit well on a DVD library!

I prefer the 3.75 inch figures because the ones I had as a kid were mainly that size: Micronauts, Metal Man, Star Wars, etc. But I did have some of the Mego 8 inch Super Heroes with a 12" GI Joe or two thrown in for flavor!

i seem to prefer the 8 inch scale, or there abouts, i dont know why they just sit in your hand nicely, and i love the cloth costume type of toy.

I definitely like 3.75 to 5.5 inches. I care more about playset and vehicle compatibility than level of detail and sophistication. Most of the best playsets and vehicles ever made were produced for those two size scales.

I would say 3 3/4 cause of the fun I had when I was a kid with the Joes and other 3 3/4 figures.

My fav. would have to be the Super Powers size standard that was used for the 89 toybiz and the 91-95 kenner lines. They all fit into the vehicles and kinda match up with the sizes of the Joes.

Can't pick just one...
3 3/4 figs are great if you want an army, or a variety of vehicles and playsets, but as a standalone figure, 6-7" wins for sculpts and 'shelf presence'.

Had to go with 3 3/4" scale. I grew up in the Star Wars/Star Trek/G.I. Joe/Comic Action Heroes era plus this scale is overall more conducive to playsets, vehicles, etc. This scale represents a large percentage of my collection.

3.75" and 5.5" for me. every time I have mego 8", or say star wars 12", I end up putting them in storage or selling them. I have probably 100 3.75" figures displayed in my bar area, and on my main display shelves 250 motu sized figs. so I voted for 5.5" bulky sized figures.

I love the MOTU size figures because it was what I collected as a kid and the 3 3/4 size because it was fun to have vehicles with joes.
I voted for the 8 inch size though, I just like the look and feel of Mego size figures.

for me its not preferring one size it is only dealing with one size period. the other stuff might as well not exist.

I like 3 3/4", lots of great figures in that format and they don't take up too much space.
