I am a collector of just about anything. Toys have been my latest collecting bug. I collect Sports Cards, Hockey Jerseys, Bobble Heads, Music, Movies, Banknotes, Coins and now Toys. I have been collecting action figures for about 4 or 5 years now. I used to buy carded figures, but they take too much space and I would like to hold them in my hands, so know I buy loose figures instead.
My toy collecting started a few years ago with my brother who gave me a Jakks Ted DiBiase figure for my birthday, because he knew I was big fan of his when I was a kid. The next year he gave me a Jakks Irwin R. Schyster to complete Money, Inc. Then I decided to get some of my favorite wrestlers, and then I just got out of hand ended up with over 100 Jakks wrestling figures. From that point I decided to collect some of my favorite figures of my childhood or figures I wish I had as a child.
In my collection I have all but one of the C. O. P. S. and Crooks figures, all of the Visionaries with their staffs, all but one of the Dick Tracy figures, a bunch of MASK figures and vehicles, over 80 G. I. Joes from my childhood (the only figures I kept when I left the house the week of graduation), a bunch of Remco AWA wrestling figures and ring, the 4 Pirates of the Galaxseas, one of each of the Lost World of the Warlord figures with their capes, the 4 figures of the original Rocky figures from the 80's, a bunch of the MOTU knock off wrestlers, and like I mentioned before, over 100 Jakks wrestling figures. I also like action figures based on movies like my all time favorite film "The Warriors". I have the 5 pose able 9" (I think) figures from "The Warriors". I also have a Highlander figure set, Leatherface figure set, a large Jason Voorhees doll, a set of Three Stooges army figures having 5 of the stooges, and a 12" Tony Montana talking figure. I know I am forgetting something, but I also have other stuff.
I am currently trying to complete the MOTU knock off wrestling figures from the Madison Wrestling Champions line which are freaking awesome. I have 10 and currently waiting on my 11th figure from that line. I know of 15 existing figures of that line, but I don't know if there are more than that. I am also trying to finish another Wrestling Champions line that are of solid plastic with interchangeable head, torso, arms, legs & waists and have China or Hong Kong on their back. Luckily they are priced fairly cheap, but I am still trying to finish this set. I have about 10, 11 or 12 of the figures, but according to the carded figure I have there are 18. If anybody has any for sale, please let me know. I want to complete both of these sets.
This is a great site and I come here often! I hope you guys add more figure sets to the archive! My girlfriend especially wants to see the She Ra figures, because she wants to start collecting those herself.
Well that's it. Hope to meet some cool people here!
