Sorry, but I have to agree with the comments on the mods and rules on this forum. I came across a pretty decent lot of figures and vehicles a couple weeks back. Most I have identified, but I did a google search for an action figure forum to try and figure out the identity of the rest. Every time I ask a question its gets shut down and I hear the "have to get 30 posts" crap! I don't know enough about what I have to make 30 intellegent posts.Thats why I came here to begin with! To get enough information about what I have to be able to participate. Unfortunatley the mods won't allow new guys enough freedom to even get started on here. Doesn't really make sense to me, sorry! No hard feelings. 22 more posts and your there, don't give up. ;D

No hard feelings. I can understand your position, and tend to agree with you. However, it really is not that hard to get to 30. (I am new myself). Just take a look around the forum. There are many topics that anyone can post in. For example, introduce yourself in the new users section. There is also the off topic section with all sorts of stuff. The general section has many good topics for new users.

Or start some new topics, with thing that do interest you and you do know a lot about. There is a bit of a slant towards certain types of figures on this site but many of us have other loves that aren't really covered here.

I just wish posts weren't deleted like they are on here. Really mucks up the continuity of threads. You go back later and find yourself replying to yourself which is just ridiculous. See here for an example of this. From now on if the mods remove a post in front of mine that I have replied to...please just delete mine also. I just look like a rambling idiot otherwise. Thanks.

That is what I have tried to do for the most part in my editing. I only had a few minutes to look at the post you referenced, but did not see where you meant. I likely removed something related to someone inquiring as to whether it was available. Sometimes in threads like these general ones, people do post back to back. If you would like to refer me to where you are talking about specifically, as I apparently missed it in the quick review, I will see if I can remember what it is i deleted, if anything. I did remove conversations throughout the board regarding dead photos or links that I removed.

Skullboozka replied to my intial post which I in turn replied too. He then replied again to that comment of mine. Later just his posts were removed and mine were left and it just looked like I was talking to myself. After I mentioned it in here it was all removed except my original post. I do appreciate all the work you have done cleaning the forum up. It has made a big difference. I just think you or whoever it is who does the editing should be a little more liberal with the chit chat. This is a forum afterall. Aslong as it doesn't go way OT it shouldn't be an issue. Thanks for listening to my concerns.

I just think you or whoever it is who does the editing should be a little more liberal with the chit chat. This is a forum afterall. Aslong as it doesn't go way OT it shouldn't be an issue. Thanks for listening to my concerns. As I said, I did not see what you were talking about this morning and nothing was removed since your post at 3 am this morning if I am understanding you correctly. I am the only one who has been on here that could have made any changes in the past 10 days and I was only on for 5 - 10 minutes today when I made the message after yours prior to being on now. I was short on time and did not make any changes, particularly to the beginning of the thread. If it had been in the last day or so, it may have occcurred, but I definitely did not edit anything today there. I do not see any currently in that thread where you are responding to yourself. Check out this particular thread if you want to see someone talking to themself (me with the updates of my editing). That being said, continuity was what I spent a lot of time on during my reviews/edits. The things I removed were dead links, response to them, things like "Awesome", "great pickup" and the like that added no value as it was not expanded on (except in the Rogues Gallery), some attempts at humor that weren't necessary or were potentially offensive and lastly, remarks made in threads other than Sale/Trade/Wanted threads where someone either mentioned something was for sale/trade or asked if something was available and ongoing discussions of that nature. The latter remarks belong in aforementioned Sale/Trade/Wanted threads only and not the Rogues Gallery, ID threads or threads in the first section. You will see some formal Rules changes coming about these very soon. Thank you also for the compliment on the cleaning. It was a tremendous amount of work and the "chit chat" removed was that mentioned above that took away from the informative reading. I don't think anyone wants to take the time to read through two individuals' commenting back and forth on whether something is available, their negotiatons or anything like that since it was rare when we ever found out whether the deal was consumated or not. Somethimes we also had the "Hey, if so and so does not work anything out, please let me know as I am interested in it also" which takes it further off course. Maybe I am not liberal enough, but I feel the majoirty of people do not want to wade through that type of content when they are trying to read about a particular subject. I don't mind an occasional off topic comment here and there, but some went on and on for half a page in some threads. Hopefully for the most part the continuity exists in the threads to the point that they make some sense. We do try to take suggestions on various subjects.
