Not much of a 90s collector at all. Hell, 80s toys are what got me back into collecting, but after less than 2 years of doing it, 70s and 60s stuff is becoming more and more of interest to me.
Somewhere in the early/mid 90s I stopped playing with toys. Ones that stick out in my memory for me the most are:
Monster in My Pocket WWF (Hasbro) Terminator 2
Me and my cousin was T2 fanatics. We saw it twice in a row on opening day and we were blown away when we saw the figures. We couldn't believe it.
I also had some Alien and Predator stuff too.
...and most of the early Marvel Toy Biz stuff. I collected POTF2 very briefly, but those are well, total crap.

Monsters In My Pocket really was a neat line; it was searching into many unknown mythologies. Yet I still think they were at their best in the start; after that, they became rather silly with the dinosaurs and the word-game bugs. The mythological creatures were the best of their series. Yet I do wonder why they never made neither a chinese dragon, nor a kappa...

My childhood spanned both the 1980s and 1990s. While I think overall the 1980s are better, I feel like there are a lot of underappreciated toylines from the 90s.
My favorite is probably Mighty Max. There was nothing like it in the 1980s. Micro playsets were a HUGE part of the 90s, but often times, they were an offshoot of a larger scale line (see: Star Wars, Star Trek, Kenner's Microverse, etc.). I love how Mighty Max was always intended to be in that scale. The figures and playsets are amazing.
Another favorite of mine is Exo Squad. I really, really wish the figures had been scaled to 3-3/4" and not slightly smaller, but you really can't go wrong with battling mech suits. They really are spectacular toys for their era.
How about Ronin Warriors? I've never seen one episode of the cartoon, and yet the figures by Playmates are AMAZING considering what else was available in 1995. Tons of removable armor, great posability...just a great looking line.
Others that come to mind?
- The aforementioned Monster in my Pocket - NINJA TURTLES (sure, they started in the 1980s, but they continued through most of the 90s) - Gargoyles - Other obscure micro lines like Body Wars and War Planets - Zap Power Force - Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (you might not like the show, but the toys are pretty incredible) - SKELETON WARRIORS (criminally underappreciated toyline) - Wild West C.O.W. Boys of Moo Mesa - Toxic Crusaders - Monster Force - The Incredible Crash Dummies
Do I need to mention any more?
