Anyone have any info on a fantasy-themed figure line called Heroes de la Galaxia? I've tried doing some research about it...I know it's made by a company called Meipy...and as far as I can tell, only seems to be released in Spain. Any websites I can find with these figures are in Spanish...I can pick up key words and such, but...ehhhhhh...you know!
Anyway, they are smaller figures...about 3-4 inches...I'm pretty sure they don't really have articulation, but some seem to have removeable accessories. I've seen cardbacks with at least four characters, but I did some Google searching and several more seem to exist! I just don't know the names. They seem to be the classic rip-off of Masters of the Universe types of toys.
Any help in the form of info or pics would be appreciated...and if anyone has any to part with, I wouldn't mind either!

pretty rad, is he wearing an egyptian style head-dress, or is that a cobra head?

I believe it's an Egyptian-style headdress...just scored one! I just need to wait for it to arrive in the mail.
Off the top of my head...think his name is "Serpirador", maybe "Serpador" or "Serpico"...ehhh looks like the love-child of Skeletor and Mumm-Ra, but he's cool! Now I just need some more.

yeah, i have to dig it out though. so it may be a little while. there are only three other figures on the back of the card. a he-man like guy, a beastman like guy and a zodiac/man at arms-ish guy with wings if i remember correctly. ive seen more than four of these figures though, so i wouldnt doubt if they made a crow guy.
oh yeah, and also, i got this guy for under $5 on ebay as well. Score!

Not to step on your toes, Skullbooska, but I kinda had this at the ready........ Just got it today! So happy! Really love this guy for some reason...oh, and I was kinda wrong about the headgear he's sporting...it's actually a snake! Yeah, a giant cobra is basically sitting atop this skull dude's head like a hat and its tail dangles down and wraps around his waist like a belt! How fashionable...and dangerous...but he's evil. I also noticed his stick thingie has a little knob at the end...I thought it was just a plain staff. Took some effort to cram it into his semi-open palm. The figure and the weapon are both rubbery. I had to pull it through with tweezers. How many bad guys use a decorative curtain rod as a magic staff...one! This guy! Not that good with Spanish, but here are my translations: ZARKAN- Child of the Stars LEOMAN- The Liberator SERPIDOR- Prince of Darkness ANDROR- Servant of the Dark Empire I'm curious if these got released outside of Spain, and if so...were they ever released under a different banner? Also, if anyone has proof of variations or "new" characters...don't be afraid to show 'em off! You can see that Serpidor's skin color is bluish on the card art...much more akin to Skeletor, while the toy itself is caucasian.

ok, is it just me, or does this line bear a VERY striking resemblance to 3 recent unknown figures: my crow warrior, countzack's fleetwood style snake man, and rawlin's warrior style guy. unpictured 2nd series, ko line, bootlegs, or what? they all seem the same size and sculpt style.

Mmmm....who knows...but I'll say this, the sculpt on those guys is a bit better than these...much more cleaner and detailed. I'd say Serpidor is probably the best looking! The rest of the guys from this line look kinda crappy, actually.
Once saw the winged guy at auction once, where the seller likened them to Other World toys. Too bad, at the time, I didn't bid, but I know he looked really goofy! There's also some other (assumed) evil dude with a helmet and spiked arm bands and weapon.

Man oh man...I am slackin'! I had these sitting in a pile...STILL in the package for a while now. I kinda kept forgetting to post these, but here are the rest of the "first wave" of the Heroes de la Galaxia line by Meipy. Here they are enjoying their precious, precious freedom! And Serpidor came along for the ride. If you compare 'em to the cardback, you can see the obvious color differences and the fact Zarkan does not have a headband like in the art. He does have a big ol' freakish roast beef neck, though! Yipe! I just wonder if Leoman is wearing briefs...of is that a lioncloth? Hard to tell due to the sculpting. He may very well be the most healthily endowed figure of the bunch IF you know what I'm sayin' playah! Daaamn!!! Serpidor and Leoman both have removeable weapons, but Zarkan and Andror do not for some reason. I'm still on the lookout for the winged guy, the female warrior, and the armored muscle man.

"psst, pull your codpiece down, Serpidor. Collectors are looking."
