Hey folks, I'm looking for info on these large blow-molded Skeletors, does anybody know how many different sculpts there are, or how many color varations? I've managed to pick up the four shown here, and have seen a few other color versions. Ive also seen some similar figures of thundercats characters. mostly looking for info, but if anyone has any skeletors to get rid of, im looking for any i dont yet have. also looking for speclatron, im sure im at the end of a long line on that one... thanks for any info! i love the large blow-molded bootlegs, i have seen countless colors of skeletor. as far as motu, i have also seen he-man and zodac, of all characters. i have seen lion-o, panthro, tigra and slythe from thundercats, quicksilver from silverhawks, mario, and lots of different marvel and dc heroes. large blowmolded figures were (and still are) quite common in latin and south american countries.

I have a large blow mold Stratos, along with skeletor and he-man. I've also seen a "faker", which was just a blue plastic molded he-man as well as a man-at-arms.

I always was curious about such things...tell me...what are these like (on average) in terms of quality, or rather, sturdiness? Are they really flimsy, or fairly solid? I know they're hollow, but is the plastic really thin?
I would kinda like to get a few of these, if simply for the kitsch factor...but it always seems like people selling 'em want big bucks.

I have the one in the top pic (furthest left) as well as a He-man and Stratos from the same " line"... They're hollow but relatively sturdy as far as blow molds go. They come apart as well. At the arms and waist. I have a larger he- man blow mold than these that is considerably less in quality. Infact some of the plastics get real thin and he has permanent dents, like his nose, etc.

thanks for the info, i've never seen any other MOTU apart from skeletor and he-man. does anyone have photos of the stratos, man-at-arms, etc? I have seen a few other thundercats though, mumm-ra and pathro, and the lion-o.
ive also seen a larger he-man figure, maybe 24" inches or so tall, has anyone seen a matching skeletor?

I have a photo of the Stratos. Look at my collection photos in the collection section. It should be in there. Otherwise I can post one within the next few days.

I didn't know he came in many molds... I only know of the 1990's one and the 2002 detailed one. I didn't know he had more molds in the 1980's.

finally got around to checking out your photos, thanks! cool to see there were so many different ones produced, the hunt continues. i've seen a few star wars blow-molded figures as well, vader with a floppy lightsaber, and 3po and r2..
the quality on the skeletors i have varies like you said from really solid to pretty fragile. the one on the left in my photo is pretty jacked.
