In another thread i posted that my brother is flying over from Scotland on the 22nd and is bringing in some of my wrestling figures that were in a box in my Gran's house. He has confirmed to me that there is both a Steve Corino and a Lance Storm knock-off figure in the collection he is bringing. Once they get here i will post pics of them for you guys to see. I can't remember what else is coming but he did say to me about them as he was not sure about them and said to me they looked like rip-offs. He described them to me and once he did the penny dropped and i knew what they were. I used to also have the AXL Rotten and Tommy Dreamer knock-offs too but they are lost and i don't remember what happened to them.

OK folks here are the Knockoffs of the ECW figures of Lance Storm and Steve Corino. I just noticed Steve Corino's crotch is actually from a Sabu figure as well.

They look pretty good for KO's, any info stamped on the figure saying who made them?

On the left leg of Steve Corin it has a number one just below where the crotch and back of leg meet. At the same place on the right leg it has the number 11. On the Lance Storm figure, in the same place on the left leg it has a number 7 then on the right it has the number 77. Apart from those markings there are no other markings on them. I checked the usual places, sole of foot, inner thighs, bottom of spine and back of legs and all i found where those numbers. Their heads are exact copies of the ECW figures and they even tried to make them look like their ECW original figure counterparts with the paint jobs. I really wish i still had the Axl Rotten one. It was an awesome Knock-off.

I know there was also knock-offs of the WWF Hasbro figures by (i believe) a company called Soma. I have never seen a knock-off of WCW figures though be it Galoob, Original San Francisco Toymaker or the Marvel ones. I have only ever seen customs of them. When i bought those knock-offs i also had a Tommy Dreamer that had Sandman's body, an Axl Rotten knock-off and a Justin Credible. They also had Rhino, Sabu, Tazz and RVD knock-offs but when i went back to get them they were sold out. It was from an indoor market stall and the guy just got in what he coudld get and never had the same stuff twice. Once it was sold out he didn't replenish his stock with new stuff, he just changed to another line. He also sold Knock-offs of the Star Wars line that came out in the mid 90's when they relaunched the Star Wars figures lines. Also Power Ranger, and Marvel knock-offs. He did sell other items like kitchen ware, car parts, school supplies but the figures he always sold were knock-offs and never original lines. Would have loved to see where he got them from and who the supplier was so i could buy straight from the source.
