with regards to the Re-issues that were put out a few years ago is there anyway to differenciate these from the vintage ones when they are loose? Do the re-issues have different copyright dates on them or were they taken directly off of the old molds?

From what I heard Mattel had to buy figs from ebay and make new molds for the commemorative series, they sold the origional molds to top toys in Argentina who used them for a whole new figure line called Fuerza-T by rearranging the pieces of different characters and different paint schemes.

some what true. they did have to recast the re-issues for lack of molds. the mold are srread out to a few countries.

Wow I didnt know that. I remember JC Penney getting some exclusive reissues but never saw them in stores back in 2001-02
