Nice! First time I've ever seen the Silver Surfer wearing boots  I have a couple of those Star Wars sets but I've not seen the Leia / Momaw Nadon set; loving the black Hammerhead! |

Has anyone seen these at dollar general? i never knew they existed.
i kind of like them.
sure, the weapon/accessory not included sucks, but i like the little packaging. they seem to be official releases (not the traditional bootleg toys DG is so well known for). some of these figs i haven't seen with regular releases even (talking about all the new revamped reissues stuff). this also brings up another question i've wondered: did they bring back the weapons packs?

what is your modern knock off fix?
i just picked up 2 "Ultimate Nija Warrior"s at Dollar General for a buck a piece, and they totally rule! granted, i had to look through the entire stock of them to find ones painted decently, but it was worth it. i picked up a red with yellow spray and black detail, and a blue with orange spray and black detail. the best $2.14 spent in a long while!

I bought those, too. The plastic quality is so poor though! If you ever see the huge $5 ninja, GET HIM!!!! They are great!

i hear you on the poor quality. they are f'n hollow!
i did see the $5 ninja, and he looks awesome! i might pick it up sometime this week. i went into DG for some cereal sales the time i bought the $1 dudes, and i didn't plan on buying any toys, so i passed on that ninja. the $6 robot warrior thingys are pretty sweet too!

Wal-Mart , TRU and I think Target. Close to $15.00 for the set though , pretty much what kept me away from them. Hopefully they will show up at yard sales soon . |
