I won a Bob off of eBay recently and released him from his plastic prison. How exactly does his action work? With mine, his leg doesn't stay in its normal place (foot on the ground). Whenever I push it down, it flings back up. I'm pretty sure it is supposed to stay in place until you hit the button on the back but I'm not sure. Anyone else have this issue?

Right out of the package, eh? Try lifting his lever and hold it in place while you lock his leg into position. Then gently put him on your display shelf. Don't put him too high up though. Next time it thunders he will probably kick himself right off the shelf!

The lever is already lifted to the top. It looks to me like the "seam" under his "crotch" region isn't as tight as it can be. When I hold that part down, the leg stays in place fine, and flings forward when I push the button. Is there any way to keep this tighter without using glue?

Glue would be your best bet. If you're planning on keeping the figure, then it can be glued w/o any glue residue showing.

Is the figure's leg supposed to lock in place easily? I was able to get it to stay once by holding down on the "cotch" area when I pushed the leg down, but it wasn't very strong. I'm wondering if that's just the way it was originally made.

The one I just got in does stay in place but pops up as soon as you touch it. Its pretty touchy.

Hey guys, im thinking of starting to collect the DC Super Heroes Batman series of figures as they look exactly what im looking for. I was wanting to ask is this the proper main action figure line adpated from the "Batman" comics, id like some replies regarding this if ne1 can help, thanks.

Do you mean the ones by Toybiz from 1989?

Rob, the Toybiz figures from 1989 are based on the Batman movie
I think the Legends of Batman and Legends of the Dark Knight lines are more based on the comic series. I could be wrong though, not to up to date on my Batman lore.

The '89 figures based on the movie were Joker, Bob the goon, and Batman. Alongside them though, we saw a few other heroes and a slew of Batman villains (Penguin, Riddler, Two-Face, Mr. Freeze). It's a nice line that goes pretty well with the Super Powers collection (at least the extra Batman villains do).

Two-Face? Super Powers? You must mean the 1989 DCSH Two Face with the enormous dime.

Well there was a Super Amigos Riddler, but yes, he probably means the far more common DC Superheroes version.

If you're going to get a batman from the DC Super Heroes line make sure you get a good look at the "face" of the figure. There's one that looks right and favors keaton more. The other two have this weird sqaure jaw and the other has eyes that are too far apart. Also the batman figures DO NOT look like the product pics on the cardback. That is a picture of the SP batman repainted. Gotta watch those guys at toybiz...

Yea i meant to say it was from the dc comic superheroes line in regards to the riddler and two face..the superpowers line and the 1989 ones just look identical really. I thought it was quite strange.

I remember as a kid being confused by the back of that Batman toybiz card when I saw the repainted SP figure. Needless to say, it looked much better than the figure that was actually included.

I have to agree with you guys on the Batman...It did not look anything like the Cardback. I really liked the Superman, Green Lantern, and Aquaman of this line. Riddler was ok bu the head could have been better. The Robin, Wonder Woman and Mr. Freeze were very close to thier Super Powers counterpars. The worst by far are Lex Luthor, and Bob the Goon UGH! The Two Face would have been ok if they didn;t have the GIANT Coin. I mean it looked like he was carrying the giant Penny from the BATCAVE! LOL The Joker was OK. DId I forget any of the figgures? O yeah the Flash he was ok like the joker... GOOD HUNTING!
