I've had this line for awhile and just wanted to see if anyone else collected it. www.virtualtoychest.com/beastraider/beastraider.htmlI thought this item wasn't made but now that I have proof of it actually in package then it was made... ;D So I really need 2 sets one boxed and the Red T-Rex loose

i do not know if they are the same thing, but i believe i saw those at Big Lots. they could be something different though. and since you are also from ohio (like myself) you might have a good chance of finding them. I actually have a Big Lots right up the street from me, i will check there tommorow and see if it the same set you are talking about.

Always found they looked neat but they don't carry it around my place, and I never found interesting lot on E-bay.
They look like the mock some of the newest He-Man figure, which is pretty cool!

The large playsets are great for The Other World Line.

i have good news and bad news. the good news is they had the beast raiders where i thought they were, but they did not have that set you want. they had box sets of a figure and a beast. they had tri-horn, a flying beast, and another, but no t-rex. i still have a few other places to check. i will be on the lookout for ya.

well, pig cop, i made it to the other places I knew had it and I could not find the set you are looking for. It looks like the Beast Raiders are going away. There are two other lines made by that company, pirates theme and a knights set. There are playsets for those two all over, but know Beast Raiders. It seems like the pegs are devoted to the pirates and knights, while they Beast Riders are dissapearing. Hope this helps.

I also collect the Beast Raiders line Pig Cop, ;D and have everything but the Hurricane set you are looking for. My Big Lots had restocked a good number of the line (along with the Pirates) a couple months back, and they STILL didn't get this set in... the restock helped enable me to finish the set by buying the 2 I didn't have though (Tri-Horns/Big-Blast sets) I have never seen the Hurricane Tyrannosaurus set on EBAY either so I am doubting the States ever got this particular set...which is a shame.

I saw a red T-rex in a Ninja type set at Rite Aid. It was of the Kidz Fun vein. I think he was too small to be Hurricane though.

Thanks guys for looking but this might be the case made only for the overseas market??? Why does that sound familiar? It seems kinda stupid that they would bring 99.9% of the line over here and leave that set in China but then how often does it make sense.... It a shame because it looked like a cool set........

So, where exactly is the love for Chap Mei figures? This company makes great figures, and although they are keen to steal other people's concepts, their sculpts are original and they make playsets like nobodys business. I've got a big box full of Chap Mei 3 3/4 and a number of the vehicles ( though these take up space SO quickly it's not even funny) but the one figure that totally blew me away has to be this monstrosity. C'mon, this reminds me of Other World's Hondu re-imagined. This reminds me most of all of a fantasy version of General Grievous. The Scarlet's there for scale, but I think this goes very well with other 3 3/4 lines. I know Toyboxraider collects a few of these guys. Who else likes them? And will these be the figures we will hunt after 10 years from now?

Yean, the playset on that box is the one I have for my other world figures. I think I have some loose ones from the set tossed in there. Its a sweet set little torches on the doors. They are a cool line but I know I have too much already.

I love the line! Both the Beast Raiders and the Knights are awesome when used as extras to other lines or by themselves as a collection. I will post pics soon of some of the ones I have displayed.

Nice figure there...ive never seen that one. I collect the line myself and was impressed with the quality for 5 pt. articulation figures. The Beast are top notch as well as the accessories.
Add a few hinge/swivel joints to your extra figures and you have a fantasy line that ranks up there with the best of them.

Chapmeitoys.com is the best and probably the only reference site there is on these toys, and it's particularly incomplete at that. I feel that Chap Mei's lines have been somewhat underestimated at times. Sure, Soldier Force 1 and Police Force 1 are all over the place, but Beast Raiders kicked a whole lot of ass, the Legend of Knights line produced some awesome dragons and monsters and the Pirates line gave kids a good ship for their Jack Sparrow instead of that hideous thing Zizzle cranked out. Sure, Zizzle gave Hasbro a run for their money concerning playsets, but Chap Mei can teach both of them a thing or two. And Beast Raiders is not the only awesome line - check out Dino Power, Ninja Fighters and Police/Bad Guys for awesome figure designs that don't deserve the term "knockoff"...

I've seen some bootlegs versions of this line, called 'Witchcraft' or sth like that, it has actually the same characters but no the he-man like guy, they are poorly painted and cheap anyway. The good thing is that Witchcraft add some cool pieces to the line, like dragons, cages, dragon's eggs, monsters, even new characters and a Castle!!!
They are pretty cool, and besides I must have a couple of spare Beast Raiders somewhere in my toy room, i'm not into this line, maybe in the future i will collect them.

Toys r us got in some sweet Gargoyle ones I was looking at last night at work. Look in with the Dinosaurs and stuff. They also have these awesome 2 ft 2 headed dragon and tyrannosaurus rex for $21.99. They will be going in with my Conan and Warlord stuff. They are done very well for being the foam ones, take a look its worth it.
