Don't bother digging, there was never a postive ID on these guys. They're called the Mighty Bend-A-Bots.

So mighty...so bendable! Made by Marty Toy in 1985...about 4 inches or so in height, made of hard rubber with bendy wire skeleton. Came with several weapons. Were they meant to be a ripoff of a particular toy line? Who knows, but they kinda make me think of Gundams...sorta....

Here's one in the package...although the blister is coming off. Admittedly, I acquired these for the sake of their accessories. Due to the almost sword and sorcery look of the weapons, I thought they'd work nice for my various unarmed He-Man knock offs. Looks like they came with quite a slew of stuff...guns, blades, a shield and other bludgeoning tools!

There's the cardback...as you can see, four characters with names to boot!

I'm almost positive I have one of those guns (the silver one) - found it in the grip of another action figure at the swap meet recently - I'll have to double check when I get home.
