I have been eyeing the Gormiti toys for a while now (my nostalgia for Battle Beasts and MUSCLE twinges every time I see them.) I finally jumped into the line the other day when I spotted the Gormiti 5" action figures (with interchangable parts.) I bought Lord Polypus, who looks like he belongs in the classic MOTU line-up! Anyone else into these guys? I may grab more of the 5" figures to swap parts between. Attachments:

I've been eyeing them too but if only they had articulation like Battle Beasts then I would have bought them up big time. Maybe they will add articulation in the future but until then I'm unlikely to buy these figures. The 5" line looks pretty though, I'll have to check those out when I go to the store the next time.

I think if they canceled the 2" line and put all of their efforts into the 5" this line could really be something, but right now it looks like two half-realised ideas. Gormiti, Secret Saturdays and Ben 10 are a glimmer of hope in the modern toy isle.

These caught my eyes when they were first released a year or so ago in America. I think Target was the only one carrying them at the time...without much fanfare. I held off, 'cause I wanted to try and save money. After all or most stores started carrying these, I just couldn't resist. I'm somewhat proud of myself for not chasing down every single toy...playsets, larger figures, etc. Nice to casually collect. They are neat, truly neat. The game......I could care less.

They look cool but they have no articulation which is why I never picked up any. If they would have just done the arms like Battle Beasts then I think the line would have done so much better. Good sale though if I find them at that price I just may pick up a few, thanks for the news.

I dont collect any modern lines so when I saw these I couldnt .resist. Now its the only modern line I collect. They are on Toys R us.com for 2.00 for the 2 packs and 3.00 for the 4 packs. The actual store was cheaper but online still agood deal IMO. I totally agree that if they were more like battle beasts they would be so much cooler.
