I like all the cereal premiums from this time. there were pencil holders and pencil toppers. i have a wack of the Disney pencil holders. there also was the jungle book barrel of monkey type premiums as well. but the black hole were the best.

Down to $799.00 now. When it was $822 he said it was the last offer: "Last Offer or it goes back into the safe for another 40 years. First buyer to pay $822 dollars and it will be shipped first class with $1000 dollar insurance." ...i guess that was the last offer before the 'last' offer... ;D ;D

It is now $777.77! That price is dropping faster than the stock market during the recession!
Someone just made an offer. If he really wanted to sell it, then here is his chance.

777 is probably the lowest I've seen this guy for I think. I don't regularly check up on, as I dont collect Black Hole stuff even though the movie rocked! I do like the story behind this guy and how amazingly difficult it is to find them. Almost like they werent produced at all. I wonder why it was that he was released in such smal numbers, and only in Canada if I'm not mistaken?

Yes Canada but some in italy as well. So the talk is that the people deciding who was produced for wave one of this line screwed up...they made to many 'humans' and too few of the 'robots'. so the long short is the case count of vincent, sentry and maximillion were way to low and the 'humans' were all peg warmers. so retailers tossed out this line as fast as it hit the pegs. wave two, trying to fix the 'puckup' included Star, Old Bob and the humanoid. too little too late the the black hole got the plug pulled...except in the small markets of Canada and italy (i am guessing they made some figures and these countries had small enough order that they could fill them???) how hard is it to simply ask kids what and who is the top figures?? older kids pick the sentry's and humanoids...the younger kids old bob and vincent...i bet no one picked any of the humans...ever. once you have the robots you might have bought more robots (i had a few sentries when i was a kid) then they went and bought star wars, battle star galactica and other stuff...kinda funny all the retailers are making the same mistakes now-a-days too... So a question back at you guys.........who else is rare like this guy??? and i dont mean a rare guy from a rare line. i mean is there a larger line like the black hole that saw distribution all over but is hard to get like this? i would have at one time thought Yak Face but he is all over the place these days. i cant think of anyone off the top of my head right now...and what about Star and Old Bob?? I still need an old bob but have Star and even a double of Star for trade... imagine if they made this set: and packaged it like the cardboard death star which included 2 stormtroopers...'buy the bridge and get everything pictured'.....only if ;D ;D...MeGo would still be in business if i ran it

To answer your question @80's action figures, (off the top of my head, and some obviously more rare than others):
*Dick Tracy: The Blank
*MOTU: Megator and Tytus
*TMNT: Scratch, Shogun Triceraton and Shogun Shoate
*AD&D:Cavefisher
*MOTU: Laser Power He Man and Laser Light Skeletor
*Thundercats-Toungeasaurs
*M.U.S.C.L.E: the 12 (I think) super rares, I've seen one go for $1500, they mostly went for around a thousand
*Marvel Superhero Squad-Kraven 2 pack (seen one go for over a grand)
*Star Wars gen 1: Vinyl cape Jawa, Telescoping Lightsaber Luke, Vader and Obi Wan

I have to disagree on these as they came from a 28 pack that originated from an auction on yahoo Japan. None of the magnificent 12 ever originated or were sold in the U.S. Also as far as I know there are only 1 known example of each.

Yeah, sorry if I wasn't clear, I never meant that they were US figures for sale in stores here (Tytus and Megator are both on that list, they weren't sold in the US either, neither was the Humanoid figure this thread is about, so I figured all lines/figures were what he was asking about), I saw a few of the super rares sold on Ebay and read about them on MUSCLE sites. I have read the entire history of the purchase of the pack with the magnificent 11. Last rare Muscle I saw on Ebay went for over a thousand, and I'm not sure if it was one of the 12 or one of the other super rares (Dr Bombay, Chainman, Missle Man, Woolman, Geronimo, Black Hole Sunshine), of which there's 1- 3 or more of depending on the figure. I THINK it was a Dark Emperor if I remember correctly.

theres a lot of fake humanoids out there- and a lot of fake bobs too- be very careful.
what its worth is kind of hard to say- because the ones on sale are never going to sell with the stupid prices they have on them- so if you look at feebay and think wow is it worth that much? then probably not or it wouldnt be on sale still- this is what happens idiots put a ridiculous price on things and everyone follows them- whats it actually worth- what could you sell it for/ maybe a third of the ebay prices.
