Is anyone collecting the new DC Infinite Heroes line yet? If so which figures do you have and how do you like them? So far I only have Shazam! (Captian Marvel) I would have gladly gotten a Black Adam, but apparently he's short packed. IMHO they are more cartoonish looking than Super Powers, but not as much as JLU. I like Shazam! just fine, but then again he's my favorite character and I tend to buy anything with that lightening bolt on it. I did spot the GCPD and Flash and Rogues 3 packs, but sadly lacked the fundulation to get them at the time.

I had hopes for this line, but so far it doesn't appear to be "older collector" friendly but it does seem to be comic book fanatic friendly.

i never liked the jlu figures, too modern animation looking for my tastes. (which, i guess would happen with a line of toys that are based on a modern animation).
but the infinite heroes have me intrigued. been wanting to pick some up, but don't know where to start! does anyone know which green lantern figs have been put out for DCIH?

I am liking them more and more. Sure there are plenty I don't want, but so far I have gotten a Question, Wildcat and Hush and they're all pretty cool IMO.

I got Black Adam, Guy Gardener, and Hawkman. All pretty awesome.
I am really liking the Brave and The Bold line. Very Super Poewers for me.

I like them but haven't really been buying unless I catch a sale cause I don't like paying 7 dollars for a sub quality 3 3/4 figure compared to the Joes and Star War figs. If only they would improve on the articulation for the arms I'd be more impressed.

I'm curious to know if the DC Universe line is over with? Every store I go to now has them on clearance even Toysrus. Does anyone here know?

the rumour i keep hearing is they are temproarilly stopping the line to work on making the figures better to compete with the marvel line.

Why not just drop the price a bit. The Marvel figures are very well done, but the DC figs look nice and look like more fun.

the rumour i keep hearing is they are temproarilly stopping the line to work on making the figures better to compete with the marvel line. The DC line around here kills the Marvel lines so not too sure about that. The smaller size Marvel are better than the smaller DC Infinity line but I think the DC line does better sales wise in the larger scale. I thought Marvel Legends were done but DC already has the next few series in the works and Mattel also has the wrestling license I think starting in 2010 . They both have the same downfalls as they get loose in ankles / elbows pretty quick and I have noticed DC are pretty fragile with the plastic they use and sloppy paint apps but in my opinion the colors and just enough articulation make DC superior for me .

If it is on a pause then I would expect the line to be dead soon enough. The one thing that was a major turn off for me was the price and quality, if they had been at 5 bucks a piece I would have bought so much more.

Not sure if they already have up to series 25 planned its a pause. Do you mean the larger or smaller ? In this day and age there is no way to get hardly any action figure for $5.00 . I like how when the Joes came out they were $4.99 and they and Star Wars and other 3.75/4inch figures now warrant the same price Marvel Legends and the 6inch wrestlers once were . Toy companys kill me with that garbage. The only thing as making improvements is if they are somehow trying to come up with a body to use for the wrestling line and the DC line ? If Mattels plan to use the same formula for the wrestling line they are gonna have a world of hurt on there hands .

I mean the smaller 3 3/4 size, is the larger size also on a possible pause?

i agree i sort of like the simpler sturdier design of the marvel. i would rather they drop the price than overarticulate them to compete with marvel. oh and i meant the 3 3/4 line. i still get confused which line is which but now that i think about it dc universe is the 6" figures right? opps sorry

I was also talking about the 3 4/4 line. Anyway as an adult collector I buy the figures of characters I like. Growing up Marvel that means I own about six of the MU/X-Men orgins line. However Target puts the three packs on sale for 10 bucks and you better believe I'll pick up the Green Arrow/Lantern and Black Canery three pack and I already had a Green Arrow figure. There is only a handfull of figures from DC that I really want anyway but I think making a price point of $6 would easily compete with Marvel from a non-biased consumer standpoint.

I've taken advantage of the Target sale and even gotten a bunch of the single packs at K-Mart for only 1.60 each. Toysrus is having a sale as well and I picked up one of those Battle for Metropolis packs and it turned out to be a pretty decent package. I like the Lex Corp Troopers but the Lex Luxor figure totally turned out cheesey in articulation, it's a shame they didn't give his figure better attention on that.

That Battle for Metropolis pack looks so sweet. I would love a Captain Marvel figure.

We should have concrete info about the future of the DC Universe Infinite Heroes line next week during SDCC. I hope the line is not canceled but rather Mattel reboots it with better articulation and sculpt to compete with Marvel Universe.

If only they would listen to this, I look forward to hearing what they will do.
