Anyone have this guy? Anyone seen one MOC? A loose one on ebay just went for over $100. He looks great, is he a straight up repaint of Remco's Skullman? Is he translucent?

I have a MOC one (Thanks to Meaty and a loose one that has half his armour broken off. The figure is sorta semi-translucent and really is one of the nicest Remcos of that type out there. He does get up there a bit in cost as well, but does show up on Ebay every once in awhile.

Maybe your broke one and my broke one can make a whole one. The armor is made of the same thing I think that root beer barrel hard candies are made of. They are the worst material EVER to make a toy accessory from .

The one on ebay didn't even have his armor, but he had his axe. It's crazy, I just got Craven and Guana from the Warrior Beasts MOC for under $20 each. There must be serious demand for that Jewel Thief!

Devour of Souls, Jewel Thief, Skullman ,Skullface , Bones and the other Pirate Skeleton (name Escapes me) and Ramars are the tougher ones of the Remco sets.

Lenzy, I am so glad you posted this pic. I saw this guy when he was on ebay and was wondering where the heck he came from. It's a Conan figure, but for some reason he's on a different card. Does anyone know where this came from? I think the seller was Canadian, is this how they put out Remco figures in Canada?

Does anyone know the name of the figure that resembles the jewel thief, most likely the same mold, but has a white skullhead / black body / and white boots? Thanks guys!

Happened to be looking through my Remco Trade catalog ( pre toy-fair ) and the Jewel Thief in it is Blue and NOT red. Anyone ever seen a translucent Blue version around out there?

Just saw another carded Jewel Thief go for over $200 on ebay. Looks like people are willing to spend the cash on carded figures for sure.

I usually buy loose figures, but I'm always tempted to splurge on a moc one just because I need the armor. The armor or even a loose fig with the armor intact never pops up. But then I realize spending that kind of cash on a figure I already have only to open it for the armor would be a huge waste of money.

Just a quick paint job and you have it.

I prefer loose complete figures myself, slm. Just something cool about being able to hold them and free them from their plastic prison. Although, I don't think I could ever open a vintage 80's figure. Id just feel too bad.

Jewel Thief is a tough one to find loose complete as his armour is kinda fragile. Most have it missing.
