I just found this forum and it is great! You can expect a few more ID wanted posts in the future! This figure has Chap Mei on it but what series is it from?

Is it just me or does it appear like a lot of the Chap Mei toys are disappearing? They used to be sold at loads of different places but now you hardly see them (well around where i live anyway)
I would love for Chap Mei to do a line of Wrestling figures, not based on any promotion but do their own line as i love the detail in their figures and they always come with great and detailed accessories.

Ive noticed that myself (and agree regarding the wrestling figures). It seems its much easier to buy Chap Mei themed sets that include accessories and animals than to buy CM figures the way they used ti be sold (in packs of 2-4 figures on cheap card board backing).

They do have some killer looking set pieces, like the Knights line has some cool figures and accesories, the Pirates have some neat things in regards to sets whereas the Military figures are compatible with GI Joe stuff but bring a lot of excellent things with them too. They also match well with Corps figures who also have some excellent set pieces. A wrestling line would be very cool to see.

Most of the outlets around me that have carried Chap Mei products have either closed down, backed way off on stocking CM items, or have stopped carrying the items altogether. I can't tell if this is due to Chap Mei themselves or waning retail interest in their products.

Around my place (Quebec, Canada) the Dollarama chain of dollars store used to always carry a line of Chap Mei. They used to got only the carded singles figure (as everything is 1$ on the store), but now they have been replaced by ultra cheap CM or worse knock-off, ado some line pop back from time to time.

I really dug the Space Ninja set that they had, great molds cool weapons the only thing missing was better than average articulation really. I got my set a long time ago at Big Lots and really haven't been to one in years so I doubt they would be there anymore? If CM would only pick up on the articulation of their figures then they would be a company in contention or at least making more cash.

More articulation would help, plus painting their figures would help too.

Definitely look like it's made by Chap Mei, but I can't help with the specific line.

Both the dragon and the rider are indeed Chap Mei, from a line called Medieval Knights to be precise. And PM sent on it.

I really do like the Vikings line of Chap Mei toys, haven't really looked for any of them in the stores, but may have to try and pick up a few if they are around. The Beast Raider and Stone Age Dinosaur sets are pretty cool too. www.nijirain.com/chap%20mei.htm

OHHH BTW these are near impossible to find in the states anymore True dat. Most TRU's near me seem to be phasing them out. What Rite Aid pharmacies we DO have in Ohio have stopped carrying them. We had a local chain store in Ohio that used to stock some of their lines, but they're abandoned them for cheaper, flimsy solider lines. Big Lots is our last hope around here... and they are very spotty, at best. Not a good time to be a CM collector in these here parts. And, oh... "Hi" Dfunk!

Yeah, Chap Mei is definitely getting rarer here in SA. We do also get the knock off versions. Geez, they really are awful.
I love Chap Mei.

I haven't seen anything over the past few months to make me think that CM hasn't folded up shop, but I don't know that to be a fact. Lack of product, specifically new product, leads me to this partial conclusion.

Just curious about the availability or existence of certain Chap Mei toys.
Okay...I've seen all the Beast Raiders toys in person...except one: Hurricane. He was the only character shown on the packaging that I never saw in any way shape or form. Does the toy exist? How big was it and what kind of packaging did it come in?
Legends of Knights supposedly has a castle. I've seen a cheap, simple version online that is mainly a facade. It comes in three sections. It came with a few mostly solid figures and horses and the snakeman. Does the much nicer one on the figure and large playset packaging exist or was it a decorative item used to showcase the figures?
Also for the Knights...there was a two-headed wolf. I've seen it once at a Toys R Us and never bought it...ARGH! Never saw it again. Anyone have pics?

Super Stores through Christmas here were carrying the Dino Valley line. Chap Mei's Website has pics of all their recent lines www.chapmei.com/home.html

The local Dollarama has the smaller Chap Mei Knights - Monsters & Heroes sets (3 different ones) for $2 each. Also SuperStore has marked down their Dino Valley sets to $5 each. I think there are 2 different dinosaurs and a couple figure/vehicle sets.

Check out this dinosaur I got at the thrift store yesterday! It has pegs for a saddle so a figure could ride on it. I saw another one there as well with a saddle but the pegs were broken. I really bought the grab bag so I could get the octopus but the dinosaur is really cool as well. Does anyone know what it belongs to? Attachments:

Although I've been trying to curb my collecting habits, I do miss the Chap Mei stuff...haven't seen any notable new stuff for some time...I've seen knock offs of the cowboys 'n' indians stuff at dollar stores and that's about it. I've seen awesome pics of cavemen, fantasy themed, and more wilderness adventure sets, but only in, like, Malaysia! What gives?!?!
By the by...any info or pics on a line called Stellar Force? It might be an older line but I never saw it in stores.

I wish I had picked up chap mei stuff when I had the chance, because now I'd really like to be able to get some. The war elephant, and the cave man stuff looks really cool. I wish I could get my hands on the Viking lines, but they seem to go for huge prices on ebay :/
