A week or so ago I got on DST/Art Asylum's website and asked them whatever happened to the M-113 Salt Vampire figure that was shown at Toy Fair a couple of years back that was going to supposedly soon be released in what was then the next wave of classic Star Trek figures. The question was used in their monthly Q&A on the site. A few days later, I received an email asking me for my mailing address so I could receive a free gift for asking the question on the site. My expectations were low, but when something free is being offered I don't normally complain much. I received the free item and much to my amazement it was the 7" "bloody" Khan from Star Trek II that had previously been an SDCC exclusive. Wow, something free that I had actually wanted for my collection! With all the various strokes of bad luck that have befallen my wife and I this year, getting that figure today was a welcome surprise.
