I just remembered this and I felt it might be interesting to share. As most of us know, the Ertl company put out four action figures and some diecast ships based on Star Trek III. Well,I have a cousin who was married at the time to a graphic artist and he did the art for the packaging to those aforementioned Ertl items. This is a poster he did up just for me,since he knew I liked Trek. I have treated this piece with alot of care and have kept it in a closet in the original package that he mailed it in so it wouldn't get messed up,the date on the package says September 1984. I think I should frame and display it. It should be okay as long as I don't put it in direct sunlight.

Awesome piece, thanks for sharing.
It's amazing to see how much fandom where can fandom can bring us. As for me I have the original art for Turbo I.D. Card from Coleco Rambo line. And that's just an example, as many meber around here have this fantastic piece of production design, art, blueprints, prototypes and testshot from some our favorite toyline. And here my point; would any of you could have tough that as an adult, we could get to collect actual production stuff from these toys? It's pretty amazing.

Man that thing's awesome. I hope you've gotten that thing framed and displayed. It's really cool to look at. The look on Kirk's face is classic like he's doing one of those pauses while he thinks of the next word. If you haven't gotten it framed yet, you can get a uv resistant glazed piece of glass or acrylic.

Hey, thanks. Getting this framed is one of those things I mean to do from time to time but it just seems to never get done. Looking back, I was pretty fortunate to be such a Trek fan and to have a relative that worked on this project.
