Photon action figure line

I recently picked up a Photon set (like Lazer Tag) at a thrift store with a pair of helmets, guns, belts and sensors. On the back of the box I noticed a pic showing 2 action figures they released to go along with the game (I think they were mentioned in an ID thread before)


I do like the look of the Warriarr creature, though the good guy does look a little stiff.

theyre great figures from an even greater show. sadly the line didnt expand out as it intended and only the 2 were made. 2 other prototypes did pop up on the bay back in the late 90's but thats it. i still have my sisters photon helmets and sensor they are currantly worn by a dressform and a cpr dummy

I think the figures are from 1986.

Is this the Entertech, Photon? They had a gun & base combo that you wore and shot each other with. I just picked up the gun that you can play Photon for real. I don't know if it works but the gun is fun to hold.

Check out this Photon unproduced proto that just sold on Ebay ($530). Its from the same guy who had all the Tigersharks weapons on Ebay as well. He must have been an employee at LJN.

I saw that, and I'm glad it went for a price that was higher than what I was willing to pay.

Last year, I got a hold of one other figure (Leon, a green lizard) in the box at a collectible toy store. So there were at least three figures that made it to the final production stage.

I asked the seller awhile back if he had any other protos from the line but never heard back, i guess we will see as time goues on, I'm sure he has others.

runamuckduck, would love to see a pic of that Leon figure! Thanks for the info, good to know that their may be others that were produced.

There were 4 Photon figures released as fare as I know: Leon, Destructarr, Bodi Li and Warriarr. I have all of these figures. You can see pcitures of my Leon and Destructarr here: www.widing.biz/photon/

So did anyone here win that boxed Destructar that went for 250 the other day? Damn good price if you ask me. I wish I had money to bid on it but I'm broke. I saved the pix incase anyone wants em. Awesome figure, definitely the coolest of the line IMO

my local toy dealer has one of the aliens boxed for an outrageous price.cant understand it myself hes about as likely to sell it as i am to become president of the usa.

If anyone has any additional info on this line I would love to hear it. Information on this line is very sketcky at best.
